This is maybe old, but I cannot find an answer that matches up with the current version of Hotmail/Outlook. I have many groups in the contact list and have finally figured out how to work my edits using the rather cumbersome, inelegant and unintuitive
methods available. However, I can't figure out how to pull up a contact's group membership list. In other words, if I want to find out what groups *** Email address is removed for privacy *** is a member of, I still have to open each group individually and see if *** Email address is removed for privacy *** is in there.
That's amazingly clumsy.
Also, when exporting the address book (as a backup/save file), groups get clobbered, and this is in a file designed to be imported back into Outlook.com. Is there a switch I'm overlooking?
Groups were given very poor status in Hotmail and it has continued, most likely as a result of a clumsy user interface. It seems like robustness is a forgotten concept.
