I previously deleted these messages from Facebook and from my phone, but they are still showing up in the Messaging pane in Outlook. How can I get them to sync so they delete everywhere at the same time?
Apparently my acount was hacked today (03/23/2013), and lots of emails were sent to my contacts. I already changed my password but this is the second time that happens in about 15 months; in both occasions my PC was off, the first time I was checking my email during lunch from my WP7 when suddenly I started to see my emails disapering from my account, quickly I went online from a PC and part of my inbox and sent folder got deleted. This time (today) I was also using my WP7 when suddenly I received a lot of "Delivery Status Notification (Failure)" I checked my "sent folder" and there was lots of emails; basically all my contacts received emails with this text "%LINKRNDCHR,5,10%%".
Could this be a possible hijack from an App in my WP7?, to be honest I don't think this is possible because I don't have homebrew apps on my cellphone only Apps from the Marketplace. Maybe a malware on my PC, but this one was off and I my Security Essential is updated and I'm very careful when I'm installing software and with my firewall. Could this be a server related issue?
Anyway I have changed my password, but I'm really concerned about being the target of somebody trying to hack my accounts. I also have a live.com and outlook.com account but everything is normal with those accounts.
So would like to obtain an IP log history to check if the IPs match the ones I normally used. I would appreciate any help with this issue because I'm getting anxious about somebody stealing my personal or any sensitive information.
Thanks.
PS: Apparently this wasn't and isolated issue, doing a quick search in the forum I found several topics from people having the same problem on the same day. So please Microsoft guys let us know what happened. Time ago I had the same problem with my Facebook account and I got an IP Log history from them and there were several login attempts coming from Singapore, I was lucky that Facebook blocked them and no information was compromised, but in this case the hijack was actually able to access my Hotmail contacts, so if this was possible; it can also gain access to my emails or maybe my whole Microsoft Account (XBOX live, Marketplace, Billing Address, Credit Cards, SkyDrive, Calendars, etc.)
I have emptied the history and the cache and my browser is updated so what can I do? I'm desparate to get onto my email after having it down for 3 days now.
UPDATE This is occuring on my laptop, a PC and my phone.
