After experiencing a number of problems in IE 9, I decided to go IE 10. After that change, I was not able to send an attachment in Hotmail with ie10. I was able to browse for the file and select it, but as soon as the upload was kicked off the window would crash. As an experiment I went to Google Chrome and logged into Hotmail and was able to send a file without a problem. To top it off I went back to IE10 and logged into another email system and attached a file and sent it to my Hotmail account. The file was received in my Hotmail account and I was able to open it. So the problem is when I try to attach a file in Hotmail with IE10.
I am up to date with patches and am using Windows 7 which is 64 bit, but it appears ie 10 is 32 bit. Silverlight is up to date also as I verified that. Tried to update ie10 to 64 bit but it stops me and says I have the most current version. Should I give it up and just go to GOOGLE CHROME?
Having worked in IT for over 30 years and now retired, I moved to IE a long time and versions ago even though I liked Netscape as my company was running IE.
