Hi,
I have recently purchased a windows 8 phone and this has shown up various issues with sync to Outlook.com. I had a Hotmail account which has been converted to Outlook.com, which is OK, but somehow the delivery folder for mail has become a sub folder in inbox. While the mails are appearing in that folder they do not appear on the phone. Tried to delete that folder in the hope that mail would then appear in inbox, but outlook.com won't allow it!!
So how to stop this and allow windows phone to sync the email? I do believe that somehow I may have created 2 mail accounts under the same title but again Can't see how to check that. The calendars and contacts do sync on a daily basis.
If I delete my account and re-create it I assume I will have to change passwords and everything?
Appreciate any input to resolve this. Would upgrading to Office 365 sort this out?

My hotmail account was switched to outlook several months ago. I moved folders from my old hotmail account to my new account and it worked fine for several weeks. However this morning when I opened my outlook account all of the folders were still there, but emails from several of the folders have disappeared. Some emails are still in folders, however others are not, it seems like some have randomly disappeared.
I configured Outlook so as to cancell all ads and all Microsoft ads but to no avail. With another account, I have nothing like this. Please can somebody help?
Many thanks in advance.
PLEASE HELP :'(
As of 28 Sept 2013, my OUTLOOK account stopped receiving any new email from my HOTMAIL account. It showed "error synchronizing your folder hierarchy. Error: 80041003"
However, I was able to send email and my contacts and calendar worked.
I tried to remove the HOTMAIL account connection and re-attach/re-install the HOTMAIL account connection. I was able to remove the account.....but then could NOT re-attach because the "CANNOT LOG ON TO SERVER"
BTW - I can still access my HOTMAIL account and my iPhone still synchronizes.
Please help.
