Hello,

Hotmail emails get delayed occasionally to us. The sender (Hotmail user) will get Delivery Status Notification (Delay), and our users will receive the email with many hours or even 1 or 2 days of delay.

The email delay is not happening to all Hotmail emails, only few of them get delayed. We don’t have email delays from other senders, only Hotmail.

I have checked the message header of the delayed email  (and willing to provide to you if requested). It seems the email was sent from the Hotmail user and stuck at one of the Hotmail servers for many hours, and then reached us eventually.

We have severe issues with this email delay as our emergency response team has clients that use Hotmail, we need to be able to respond immediately, not in one or two days to these people.

Please help.

Thanks,

Kevin

My hotmail account was automatically upgrated to outlook.  Now when I log in to my account, all my old hotmail emails are nowhere to be found.  Please help.
We created an account for my infant daughter to send emails, pictures and track her childhood but when I logged in last week, I noticed that all of the emails were gone except for the one welcoming us to the new Outlook.com.  How can I find/locate those emails as some are irreplaceable from family members that are no longer with us.  Many thanks!!

I don't have an internet enabled mobile phone so I use my Windows 7 laptop and my Windows 8 PC.  I have Hotmail set as my home page in Internet Explorer and in there all I get are the default folders and one email saying "Outlook Team.  Welcome to Outlook".  NOTHING else!

However, I CAN still read all my Hotmail emails in Safari, FireFox and Google Chrome, but I shouldn't have to - especially since I'm not good at remembering passwords and I have to sign in again.  I want to get them back again in Internet Explorer!

I am hoping you will be able to help with my query.  I have a samsung phone; and am finding the emails on the PC and phone are not synchronising to show when they have been read on either devices; and end up occasionally responding to the same email on both devices.

Is there any way I can synchronise so that the emails read either on the computer or the phone shows as read?

Thanks
Geeta

Hi Allen,

I am getting ablank page when logging into my hotmail emails on *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

Thanks
Today, after a number of attempts, I am unable to send or receive hotmail emails.  The system lets me in but it takes a long time to partially upload the folders in my account.  The graphics displayed remain very basic and if I click on an email inside any of the folders, in order to read or send the email in question, nothing happens.  The only section that's working is the settings section that includes my personal details.  For some reason this is unaffected.  The rest just doesn't work. Logging out is another nightmare, very slow.  My emails are in the system but I cannot access them.  Nor can I see the contents of any of the folders except for the Inbox folder.

Please reply to the alternative email account I have of:
