Hi Everyone

My system is running Outlook 2007 through Outlook Connector to collect my Hotmail emails.

It has been running very well for quite a while now, but this morning it refuses to let me in fully, and gives the following error messages -----

I have run scanpst.exe on both my .pst and .ost files at least three times on each, very time consuming as one is 6Gb (.pst) and 2.3GB (.ost), but to no avail.

I can access my Hotmail outside of Outlook/Connector, and I have been able to send one email from within Outlook/Connector.

Can anyone shed any light on what is happening here please ??

P.S There are no files with huge attachments waiting to download from Hotmail.

I still cannot receive hotmail emails and get messages that account cannot be synced

I do not get my Hotmail emails and on my ipad there is a message that it cannot get connected to server. On pc the message is: could not sync messages in Outllook. These messages I am receiving for the last 2-3 months. Can you please assist me so that I can receive my Hotmail?

As many people noticed these days, also I was affected with lost of all my old hotmail emails. They have been deleted by system itself after converstion from hotmail to Outlook, and I want them back!

I have just logged on to outlook,com for a first time and I have noticed that all my old emails have disappeared from my account . Pleas give me some instructions how I can recover these emails, as they are of great value to me! My last log in was during summer, and all emails were there, so this must be some error after hotmail-outlook conversion.

Lost my HOTMAIL emails after moving to OUTLOOK

I recently noticed that my old emails (All email items in HOTMAIL) has been disappeared, I migrated my HOTMAIL account to OUTLOOK on August 2012.

I tried restoring deleted items, but it didn't work. I have many important documents in old mail account.

Delete greyed out for Hotmail email on iPad

Recently, I have noticed I can no longer delete hotmail emails from the default mail app on my iPad. Through google searches I have gone into settings and selected the option under POP email that says to let the mobile device tell the account to delete. I thought maybe this was a new option as I have always been able to delete before. Unfortunately, this did not solve the problem.

Then I read suggestions of changing the amount of time to sync (sync one week of email then change it to sync two weeks etc.). This did not work either.

I then completely deleted the hotmail account from my iPad and reset it up under outlook exchange again and it Still doesn't work. When I select a mail message, the delete trash can icon is greyed out. My other accounts sync and delete just fine. This is the only account. Ahhhh!

Lost all my Hotmail emails after migration to Outlook

Hi,

I've lost all my emails in Hotmail after it migrated to Outlook.

I tried to restore deleted emails to no avail...

Apparently Microsoft will delete all emails in case of inactivity on the account for more than 270 days. However I have been active regularly.

Could someone from Microsoft please help restore my emails, as they go back to the 1990s.

Hotmail Emails LOST after switching to Outlook

Good Afternoon,

This is the third time i am raising this query and i have to say i am VERY disappointed with the level of 'service' and feedback i have received from the Microsoft team!

Its been nearly 3 months since i lost ALL my hotmail emails, folders AND account after switching to Outlook, and no one has come back to me with a solution on how to recover my emails!!

I had the hotmail account for over 10 years and i am absolutely GUTTED that the emails have been lost with no way of retrieving them!!!

The last 2 times i raised a query, i got a private message notification that had no solution!!! All it said was that i should click on a link, which referred my back to my original question!!!

Please! Please! PLEASE can someone come back to me with a solution to my problem as i am getting quite desperate!!!

There are also a number of companies on google search saying they can help retrieve my emails at a cost?????? how legit is this? and are they part of Microsoft? Could that be why no one has come back to me with a solution???? i.e i have to pay a fee for help?

All of my hotmail emails have been lost in the transition to Outlook.com. I have not been hacked, I do not have POP sync issues, I have not deleted them. There are some very old, very important emails I would like to recover. I need this fixed.

My hotmail inbox is completely empty since the switch to the new outlook style email. Is it possible for me to retrieve them ?
