Hotmail messages not being received

My daughter and I both have hotmail accounts.  She sends me messages which I receive and reply to using the REPLY button.  She does not receive my replies.  I have tried sending messages to her without using the REPLY button, but she does not receive them.  How do I resolve this?  *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

how do I merge my old hotmail address and my new outlook address into one inbox?

The address i wanted to use for Hotmail was unavailable when I started using it - but was available for Outlook.Com - so i grabbed it.

Now i'd like all my old hotmail messages (and new ones I get at that address also) to come into the new Outlook accout i just set up.  Is that possible?

I need to retrieve my hotmail messages from Jan 1, 2012 to Jan 9, 2012.  I emptied the deleted emails and I desperately need them as I am involved in a law suit.

Please help me retrieve them.
