about some of the answers relating to state and post code as my daughter set up the account a few years ago.
i have tried to use the security code option but as my daughter set up the account i do not know what phone number she used and she doesnt remember either. i have put my mobile phone number in but did not receive the code. i have also tried sending the password
reset to the email addresses attached to the account but dont know whose they are as my daughter set up the account and she doesnt remember either or they dont exist anymore.

Does Microsoft ever send an email that asks for the recipient to submit a password from within the email?
have used password reset with yahoo but Windows Messenger will accept neither my hotmail password nor my reset yahoo password .... help!!!!!
i can't find the hotmail reset your pass word page where do i go to find it?
I changed my hotmail password on my PC. Now my iPad demands my hotmail password, never done this before. When I put in new password iPad says it is incorrect. Because of this iPad is blocked, cannot use it at all.
After having the same password for a long time, I was asked to change it. Ok, it was overdue anyway. But not much later, I was forced to change it again. Does anyone know how long Hotmail passwords are supposed to last? (I do not have the expire in 72 days enabled)
Rich
My email was hacked and spam sent to all of my contacts (only 4 spam emails were in my sent folder). I've changed the hotmail password and am in the process of changing my other passwords as a precaution. During the process about 40 minutes ago I noticed
that I received three delivery status notification delays. I think the spam emails are still trying to be delivered but I'm not 100% sure. If I'm right, is there anyway to stop them and prevent others from being sent?
