I tried to change my credit card as my auto renew was set to a changed credit card. I thought I was able to do this but now it is showing expire on my hotmail Plus account. I have had this for many years and need to reactivate but there is no way to get in touch with microsoft on this
Dar Microsoft Tech guys;
Please advise ASAP how to recover my Hotmail Plus Account (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) that was deactivated by Microsoft Billing. BOOM! No access to the pop3.live.com server for either my personal email or for my motel's business email wiothout any Notification, forewarning or inquiry when the acct's auto-billing failed.
Fortunately, I found a phone no for Microsoft billing, whom I called to investigate. After an hour or so on the phone with a patient and professional Customer Service Person, I was apprised that my cancelled account (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) had been REACTIVATED. BUT despite several attempts with assistance from the Customer Servive Person, we could not access or recover my account or its email. AND Microsoft no longer provides any phone hotline to assist with such recovery issues.
So, I was instructed to set up an entirely NEW Account & password -- just so I could login to this Microsoft Forum to seek assistance, then wait for ~24 hours for a response / assistance.
Well guys, I hope to hear from you ASAP instead of in 24 hrs, since my motel business has ALREADY been DOA for ~24 hrs while investigating this hasty deactivation.
PLs advise RECOVERY Instgructions ASAP
Thank you

P.S. Microsoft used to have a phone hotline for Tech Support for such issues. What happened to that?

Symptom: repeated requests for the login password which keep getting rejected even though correct.
Is there possibly something wrong with my Hotmail account that is causing this and, if so, can someone look into resolving this? I have uninstalled and reinstalled all of the pieces at my end and, since it is happening on multiple machines, believe the problem is related to an MS authentication bug.
Thanks.
I am usually billed in March every year for my Hotmail Plus account. However, due to all the changes and reverting to Outlook (which I hate) I might might stop paying for Hotmail Plus and let it revert to standard Hotmail.
Does anyone know if I will lose any of my emails and if there are any detrimental effects that reverting back to standard Hotmail that I may encounter.
Speaking/mailing anyone at Microsoft seems almost impossible these days so any advice would be much appreciated, especially from people that have experienced it.
Many thanks in advance.
