I have noticed some users are repeatedly reporting that someone/something is sending emails using their hotmail accounts regardless they have changed passwords.. Is there any kind of security breach in hotmail account? Spam outbreak?

I use my Hotmail email account for all the work I do from home. Recently all my folders along with my emails disappeared along with emails that are to be provided as evidence in a court case. Furthermore I am not receiving new emails e.g. purchase confirmation
from Amazon, friends, receipts sent from purchases and Trade Me. Please advise who can assist me with this. This is extremely urgent. I am an older user and am not confident in using computers. Also Hotmail does not appear in the drop down list below.
my account has been blocked and I found out I had to reset my password, apparently im not answering the questions correctly, I cant remember what emails I last send and the previous passwords ive used, hence why I have been using the reset tool as I have a bad memory. Now I cannot access my email at all and I cant get the reset link sent to me as apparently I have requested a reset to many times. This Hotmail is linked to a lot of my accounts and is required for a lot of things. Their suggestion is to talk to you guys or create a new account. The other problem I have now created is I have created an outlook account I don't know if it prompt me to. I just want my old Hotmail account back. I cant afford to loose the last 12 years worth of info I have on there please help me out.
The questions are ridiculous, how am I supposed to remember who I sent an email to on a daily basis and what the topic was?? I cant remember the password how am I supposed to remember that when I have a very bad memory. I reset my password today 11/12/13,and is still not working.. I am stressed right now.
Everything imported to an outlook account and none of my Hotmail was imported!! Where did it go? Thank you so kindly.
I have been using the hotmail messenger almost every day for a decade now, although i did not regularily enter into my hotmail account. The last time was actually quite a while ago (no idea how long exactly) but when i did try to login now, i saw that
it switched to outlook.com (which it had the last time i tried as well) but this time, it was completely empty!!!!
Where did all my mails go?
I did never cancel the account, and i did use it daily through the messenger to chat, so how can it be that ALL the mail is just GONE?
Can someone please tell me what i can do to retrieve them again?

Like many others, I am wondering whatever happened to all my old Hotmail emails when everything switched to Outlook.com. Please don't tell me to try to restore missing emails, that was pointless. I have yet to see a complete, helpful answer. If it's
that Microsoft just deleted everything irrevocably for those who were not active in Hotmail at the time, just tell me so I can get over it and not try to get everything restored. Thank you.
The fact that hotmail have decided to change thing is fine but to delete all of my emails without me having the chance to do something about it is an outrage as i have emails of great importance and it matters for the future with my children and myself
as there are lots of emails to do with courts and custody and emails concerning factual evidence.
I am so angry at the inconvenience this has caused me and i am not the only one as a few of my friends have got the same issue so please do not answer me witht he fact that it could be my fault or a hacker, it is down to the fact that microsoft have caused mayhem and are not taking blame for it and helping anyone.
I should think that there are many people the same as me in this moment in the way that they are thinking of changing from hotmail to another service because its not the way anyone should be treated.

It is fun to have the various stationary in Windows Live but it is rather dissapointing that when I sent messages using the stationary noone who opens that email in Hotmail receives the email with the stationary. Most people that I email to use Hotmail not Windows Live. I like the way that you can use and handle pictures in Windows live.
