When I click on the "To" (or CC or BCC) to access my Contacts to send out an email, the names in my Contact List come up with their First name first and Last name last. Is it possible to change that to Last name first? Please note: I am not talking about
editing the actual Contacts List which can be done by clicking on the Tools icon while in the Contacts. Thank you. Brad

and why can't I see a 'chat' icon anywhere?
Am I automatically logged-in to messenger if my hotmail page is open?
Does it have to be open to be 'live' on messenger?

Hi,
I have just started using Windows Live Mail 2012 with Windows 7, and generally very happy with it. One slight annoyance is what happens when I double click on the new mail notification icon (the one with the yellow envelope in front of the blue one). This takes
me to the inbox of the default email account, even if the new mail has arrived in one of my other email accounts! When there is no new mail, double clicking this icon (blue envelope only) takes me to whatever folder/account I was last viewing (which makes
sense). Ideally I would like the new mail notification icon to take me to the Quick views/Unread email folder. Is this possible?
Regards,
Adrian

I have Windows Live Essentials 2012 and as of about two weeks ago, I was able to share photos by clicking the icon at the bottom of the chat window but now it just offers me the choice to send a file? I enjoyed being able to preview what I was sending
in the pop-out window. Please help!

My contact groups were created a while ago and it seems that there has been a format change. There used to be an 'edit' icon to click on but I can't get to that request. The best I can do is display the groups. This gives me the options of deleting a
group, adding a group or renaming a group. What's the secret to get to the editing function so that I can add or delete contacts from the group?

Windows Live Mail 2011 used to start up within about 10 seconds of clicking the icon. Now it takes at least 90 seconds which is very frustrating.
