windows 7 live mail not recieving messages or junk mail

I am not recieving any email or junk mail in the last 3 days. Idid notice when i turned on computer about that time that there was an update that ran right away, wonder if it had anything to do with it, Idid make a purchase on ebay and they didnt recognize my email. hope someone can help, I'm kinda lost what to do. Thanks
