IE9 on Vista keeps freezing on Vista when Outlook is running

IE9 on Vista keeps freezing when Outlook is running; other programs continue to run well (on Windows Vista) even when IE9 is frozen, and IE9 does not freeze up except when running Outlook or has a tab connected to Outlook.com.

 

Ctrl+Alt+Del starts up task manager ok, and End task closes IE9 properly, which then works well until Outlook is running, and contiues to behave with text based emails. It most often freezes when following an email link to a video clip to a youtbe or vimeo link; the link will play well, but Outlook and IE9 will freeze on trying to return to outlook, either by selecting the 'Back' button, or by closing the tab the link was on.

 

Any suggestions out there?

Can’t share folder via send mail or get a link

As happens to other user I can´t share three of my folders.

 

I was able to share them previously, but not now.

 

Tried to share using both IE9 and Firefox.

 

Tried to share them from other computers, my phone & tablet (both Android 4.1).

 

O.S: Vista Business service Pack 2 - updated.

I get a blank screen at sign in, windows 7, IE9

When I access hotmail through IE9, using either www.hotmail.com or the outlook address i just get a blank screen.  The URL in the box is correct and indicates sign in.

I have been unable to log onto my Hotmail account account in IE9 for several days yet it works perfectly in Google Chrome. Each time I sign it I get the following reply:

Something went wrong and we can't sign you in at the moment. Please try again later

I see that there are several others with a similar problem.  I have done everything I was asked to do on the Community site but to no avail.  Does anyone have any ideas?

Embeded pictures do not open in emails( ie9). I have reset all to defaults . I have also checked  show picture in internet option- Advanced.  Just started not showing pictures , just shows grey box. Please help

can’t download attachments to e-mails

I can't download attachments to e-mails.  I am running 64 bit windows 7 and IE9. I have checked have not viruses. it waws working a week ago but now it is not. Only new thing is latest version of flash player installed.

I can open them on my iphone but not on laptop

 

can anyone suggest solution
