Why won’t the Sweet IM extra show in my Windows Live Messenger? I have downloaded it so many times and it still won’t show. It used to and I am not sure what changed so that it no longer shows.

I think the only change was an upgrade to IE9 after my hard drive crashed and was fixed by IT professionals. They installed IE 9 rather than IE 8 I was using and now the Sweet IM extra for Messenger no longer shows at all.

When attempting to send or reply to an email in hotmail, using IE9 the Internet Explorer Security pops up and my comuter locks up.  I have to use task manager to unlock it.  I do not have this problem with Chrome,  This seems to happen after an update but then it works ok after another.  What going on?
