I have an email stuck in my inbox. I couldn't open it so deleted the message. Now it remains in my inbox, says 'message can't be found' but won't let me delete it. It won't let me move it to a folder either. I get a repeating message saying an unknown
error has occurred when I try. I also just tried deleting it from my server but it remains in my inbox!
It's not ground shaking but it's annoying to have it sitting there, I like a tidy inbox with only messages waiting to be answered in it :)

For some reason my inbox in my outlook only shows emails after 08/10/13. All my previous emails are still there but I have to find them by using the search option. However this is not possible using a mobile device because because they are not in the
inbox of my main hotmail account.
Over the past 2-3 days, I have noticed that some of my emails that were in my inbox have been moved to my trash. I will go and delete a few from either my inbox or other folders, and then go to my trash to delete (I like to delete everything from there
right away). I will see that emails that I wanted to keep have been suddenly added to the trash and they were never checked off to be moved, nor had I even clicked on them to look at them during that time frame. They might have been from the same day, or within
the past few days. They are NOT always ones that are next to each other when in my inbox (so it is just random emails, not ones in a row). It is really **** me off to say the least, as I have to go and select them and move them back to my inbox manually (I
have not seen ones from other folders end up in the trash, only inbox). If I were not keeping track of my trash folder and deleting it all once I have put stuff in there, I might never have noticed it doing this and would have lost MANY very important emails,
and some other not so important ones. Why is this happening and what can I do to stop it? If it doesn't stop in the next day or 2, I will be forced to totally switch over to my Gmail account that I normally don't really use. This would mean transferring over
all my email subscriptions to newsletters and other contacts etc, which would be a HUGE pain! I have had this email for about 13 years and do not want to give it up just because of some glitch with Outlook.com (which I have to say I REALLY HATE btw, I much
preferred the Hotmail style I had before I was forced over).
Recently set up new IMAP email account. Inbox appears under email <name> folder, however, Deleted, Sent and other folders appear as SUB-directories of Inbox. Everything shows up in Inbox now, which is annoying. Not sure if its a function of IMAP, seeing
threads of conversations or what. (Have another e-mail account connected that appears correctly with Inbox, Drafts, Sent all showing at same 'level' in directory. Help ...
I have installed office 365 home premium and encountering problem with Outlook.
I have configured the outlook and was able to send mail successfully and was able to receive mail,
BUT I cannot view the inbox and all the mails I received. I can access it only by clicking the prompt message in the side bar.
I cannot access it using my outlook.
Please give me instructions on how I can access my inbox and view my inbox properly thru my outlook.

I am with Bell Sympatico and using Windows Live Mail. Three months ago, when I sent an email to myself (often do with links I want/need to keep), these messages all of a sudden stopped being received in my Inbox. Yes, they were all there in my Sent but
never was received back into my Sympatico account. I contacted the help desk at Bell....that was an experience....and after about 1 1/2 hours of trying everything on my computer, the help desk finally corrected the issue. Of course I have no idea what he did
to do so. Well, three months later, SOMETHING has triggered this issue to re-appear. As of yesterday, all email messages sent by myself to myself no longer appear in my Inbox. Yes, I could just keep the message that appears in my "Sent" folder but I am ****

After you create an alias on your outlook account, it asks you whether you want to move your current inbox to a different folder.
I did this for one of my aliases, but by accident, I also created a new sub folder for my primary alias.
How can I change it back so that my INBOX is connected with my PRIMARY alias? Right now Im getting all my mail through these subfolders while my inbox remains empty. Its very annoying.
After a few days, messages in the Inbox are shifted to the Trash Folder without me having actively made this happen. Can anyone suggest why this is happening and more importantly, how I can remedy the situation.

This redirection worked a few days ago. Yesterday I will login to *** Email address is removed for privacy *** to find, why redirection don't work. After set login information and send form, wil show form to set password and add primary alias. Primary alias on domain kaplankova.cz don't go to add and I must set to comtiune to inbox alias on outlook.com (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***). After send this form was shown alert, that "Updating your inbox, Wait a few minutes and try again. (Probíhá aktualizace složky Doručená pošta, Počkejte několik minut a opakujte akci.)". This alert is showing 24 hours yet and I can go tou inbox to read mail and setting e-mail acounts. Can't get mail in Thunderbird yet (login doesn't work).
Can you help me solve this problem? It's possible get e-mails before delete account and add new with same mail adress?
