Hi All
Not sure if I'm in the right place, But here goes : I'm trying to setup TalkTalk with Mail APP but unable to make it work, with the setting I have from TT it will receive mail but unable to send That is with the TalkTalk settings as follows:

Incoming mail server : mail.talktalk.net
Incoming port : 143

If I can not use that setting, the POP3 only the ports are different.

Outgoing : smtp.talktalk.net Port 587
Outgoing SSL : yes

Dear All,
My Domain is www.tnomnibus.com, I am trying to configure POP3 & SMTP using outlook as I was trying to configure the email through outlook, My incoming pop3 settings have been accepted and
logged in., but while it goes for SMTP asking for the password for any accounts created in this domain. We need the password reset options also for this domain. We only can configure POP3 & SMTP settings for the server which we have now.
Incoming Mail Server Working fine :
Incoming Server (POP3 Server) : pop3.live.com
Incoming Server POP Port : 995
Incoming Server POP SSL Encryption : Yes
Outgoing Server (SMTP Server) : smtp.live.com
Outgoing Server SMTP Port : 25,587
Outgoing Server Authentication : Yes
Outgoing Server TLS or SSL Secure Encrypted Connection : Yes
“Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)” check box not selected too.
Error Message on Outlook :
Send test e-mail message: The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).
Error Message on eM Client :
An email server was detected, however your credentials were rejected. Do you want to try again using different password or username?
* Checked the same with ISP Provider also nothing blocked, While my Google account works on this port perfectly too.
Regards,
D.Nithyananthan.
I have tried for weeks to get my outlook.com email account to work. It will sometimes get emails but most of the time I get the following error...
'Log onto incoming mail server (POP3): Your incoming (POP3) e-mail server has reported an internal error. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP). The server responded: -ERR Exceeded the login limit for a 15 minute period.'
I use Windows 8 and IOS 6.1
I have it set up using pop3.live.com, 995 and smtp.live.com, 25, TLS
Can't figure it out?
Thanks
Mike
