Earlier this month the family e-mail that our daughter uses was temporary blocked and I was asked to complete a Validating your Account Form I have completed various requests several times to try to reactivate the account but unfortunately I am going around in circles.I believe this has been a wakeup call to our family as to maintain account information and secure passwords and we appreciate how security is taken very seriously. However, it may be useful to advise users periodically to examine their security information, change e-mail addresses for reset information for example the e-mail we gave originally is no longer in use and has been replaced.  The security question favourite fictional character we have had to guess

I have asked for a comparison to make of the two e-mail accounts to try to verify proof if identify I am confident that the other questions were correct what else can be done to prove ownership.

So many of my old contacts seem to have just vanished from my contact list over the last while.  I have had to go through sent emails from people who had always on my list before to re-enter their contact information, but there are some people  for whom I don't even have old emails to get their addresses back.  Where did they go?  Could it have been Hotmail's fault when they implemented the new Contact format (which, by the way, I abhor)?  In send mode, when I push "to" a contact address might be there, but if I go to my contacts, it is not there.  I have a phantom contact address that was imperative to delete and which was deleted both on computer and cell phone, but which pops up occasionally and has caused a huge business loss as a result of an email going to that contact.  This phantom address can not be deleted when it pops up in the "To" mode, and does not exist when I go to my Contacts!  So there is risk of another email inadvertently being sent to that address.

Also, when I get into the contact screen, it shuts me out from going back to my account and I have to login back in.  This is definitely not an improvement.  Hotmail has developed issues.

I recvd an email stating that some of my account was being blocked and I needed to provide certain information. This came from Windows Live Team. Is this a legitimate email request?

My groups are no longer listed in my contact list.   I can go to the manage section and my groups are listed.  However managing just consists of deleting a whole group (no individuals identified) or adding a new one.  There is no information about how to get the groups back in the contact list.  Please help me with this.

Since iCloud does not work with Microsoft Outlook 2011.  Is there a way you can put your information into iCal and it synch to Outlook?  This way if I stay with iCal with will sych with all my devices to iCloud?
I need to recover my old email address which is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. I used it long ago, probably two years ago. The last time I had the password to it was July of this year. But for the months of June and July, I was receiving emails that my account was having suspicious activity. I always filled out the little forms I was given to verify it was me. But yesterday, I attempted to log into my hotmail account and forgot my password. After resetting my password, I was told that my account had been temporarily blocked. Now I know this whole shindig. I've done the account form before and it was successful. That was earlier this summer. I got it back no problem after an account investigation. But yesterday, I filled out two account investigation forms and they both failed. I don't know what the deal is. I've had the email so long that I hardly remember what my old passwords were. Basically, the only solid evidence I have that I'm the owner is who I sent emails to. I had a long distance girlfriend during the time that I used that email often, and if an agent can talk to me, I can pretty much tell them all kinds of details about what happened and what was said in the emails that we exchanged in the last couple weeks of our relationship. Is there a number I could call to explain my situation? Because I can prove that I was the owner of the account, but not through the information that they take from you in the forms. This is going to sound dumb, but when I was younger, my parents drilled it into my head not to give out my personal information. So when I would sign up for email addresses, I hardly used real information because I wasn't thinking long term. I know that on this email account I probably lied about my birthday because most emails won't sign you up unless you're over 18. I am over 18 now, but when I made it I wasn't. It's very complicated... Thanks in advance for the help.
