Not receiving emails from some senders (Instagram) and unable to send emails

Hi,

I hope you can help me. I have recently tried to recover my instagram password (several times) as I have been locked out of my account. They have sent password reset emails several times but I am not receiving the emails. I haven't logged into my Hotmail account for a while and so when I did I received an email welcoming me and all emails which were in there before have vanished. Why is this? May this be the reason I am having problems receiving emails from Instagram? I have received a few other emails. I have read similar posts and followed instructions given to no avail so can you look into the issues on my account further please. 

In addition to this I am unable to send emails either. When I try I am told my account has been temporarily blocked as there has been unusual activity. It asks me to verify using sms and even after doing this it doesn't allow me. 

Please can you help to fix these issues. I have checked that Instagram have the correct email address and because of the mentioned issues I am unable to use both of these accounts properly.

I have literally searched high and low for an answer

I have read every single thread about this common situation, but still no answer.

I have checked all my filter settings, added @instagram.com to my safe senders list and everything that has been told to do. I really NEED help because this is becoming a frustrating matter. I can receive instagram emails to other accounts on hotmail etc. BUT I NEED THE PASSWORD RESET EMAIL TO THIS PARTICULAR HOTMAIL ACCOUNT.

I'm not getting my password reset email from instragram I've checked junk , I also checked my Blocked sender list and @instagram was not there !! I also added them to my  Safe senders list then I reset my password again but I'm still not receiving any email from them !
My user name in Instagram is maijjjaa

Still after countless and effortless trying I have not been able to get the password reset link from Instagram. I have tried everything I have read about in the forums, and even posted a question previously about the same topic but still no luck. Unable to receive password reset mail from Instagram

Hi moderators,

i have been trying to get a password reset mail from Instagram for the past 1 week, and it seems that I'm not able to receive any mail from Instagram. I have already tested out on my own and i'm able to receive any other regular mails. My Gmail has no problem receiving password reset mail from Instagram for another Instagram Account. My hotmail account is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
I have already done the following:
  1. Sign into your account
  2. Click the Gear Icon, then choose More Mail Settings
  3. Under Customizing Hotmail, click on Rules for sorting new messages.
  4. Click New button
  5. Under Step 1: Which messages do you want this rule to apply to?, on the first box with dropdown list, selectSender's address and on the second box with dropdown list, select is.
  6. On the third box, type sender's email address. You may select any option that you want to use in first, second and third box depending on your preference.
  7. Under Step 2: What action do you want to apply?, select Move to Inbox.
  8. Click on Save button.
And

1. Log in to Outlook.com.
2. Click the cog icon at the upper right and select More mail settings.
3. Under "Preventing junk email", click Safe and blocked senders.
4. Click Safe senders.
5. Type the Instagram email address in the Sender or domain to mark as safe field and then click Add to list >>.



I have been trying to get this solved for the past 1 week or so but to no avail. Please do help me to resolve this issue.

Microsoft Outlook/Hotmail – You Guys Suck

I have been going around in circles trying to find a solution in everyone's posts regarding the Instagram issues. All you guys knew to say was to either check our stupid private messages that gave us nothing new to do, or basically to check our junk/spam folder for the billionth time.

This is so unprofessional, and this is taking ages to fix. What kind of "support" is this? A suggestion: how about you just tell us what to do on the thread rather than tell us to check our private messages? It'll help millions of users who are having the same problem.

One more thing, when will this be solved? It's been over 2 weeks. This is not Instagram's problem, its yours. Also, we cannot contact Instagram, do your research.

     So I created live.com  like 2 years ago and now that msn totally changed I tried to log back to my account and I couldn't , i had to create a Microsoft account and I put the same old email address which is this one. And 2 days ago I wanted to reset my Instagram password and Instagram sent me an email to my old email account(this one) and when I check my outlock I don't see any incoming email from Instagram. And now I can't get on it cause I asked to reset my password and I'm not getting the message on this new Microsoft. What do I do now ? Like what happened to all the emails I had from a year or 2 years ago ? They disappeared ? And what happen if someone tries to send me an email? Where does it go ? I'm really confused, stressed and frustrated cause I wasn't expecting this. I don't like this new update cause instead of putting it more easy we gotta break our heads in order of how to use it or understand it .. All I want to know is that if I could get that Instagram email on this Microsoft outlock ? Ill appreciate if you reply to me as soon as possible. Thank you.
