I have tried the steps provided in the forum viz.
1. Logout and login with shift key depressed
2. Change the /Library/Automator folder and try update again.
But, the issue with the update still persists. I am currently on 14.2.4, ML 10.8.2
The advice given by Microsoft does not work and is totally useless. I have been trying to run Microsoft AutoUpdate to install the automatically downloaded update to 14.2.4 for my Office for Mac on my Mac-Book Air 2011 running OS.X Mountain Lion. My Office
programs latest updates are 14.2.3.
When you try to run AutoUpdate Installer it wants me to Quit Microsoft Database Daemon and SyncServices Agent so I followed the advice given on the Answers on Office for Mac pages about using Activity Monitor but when I follow the resolution using the
Activity Monitor as soon as the applications are given the instruction to Quit or Force Quit they just start up again so there is no way of installing the update.
Is there any other way of switching them off, e.g. at StartUp so the Updates can be installed?
So currently I can not install any updates to the Office software including ones which involve Security issues. This is not good enough. Please advise solution?
Why have Microsoft not identified and resolved this issue already? It must affect more than just my Mac.
Hi Everyone,
When Windows messenger (Live) was having errors I deleted it the file before I removed it from control panel (uninstall).
Now the problem is when I open the control panel it Windows Live Essential does not exist and when i run the Windows Live Essential Installer
It says "Done you have the latest version". I've tried to find messenger in my search box however nothing shows up.
Ps I've already ran a registry cleaner but I still cant get it to install or find it in control panel to uninstall....
I am running Windows Vista 32 bit version
I was wondering does anyone know how I can install the latest version of Windows Live Essential so i can use messenger again?
Thanks in advance
