I don't have an internet enabled mobile phone so I use my Windows 7 laptop and my Windows 8 PC.  I have Hotmail set as my home page in Internet Explorer and in there all I get are the default folders and one email saying "Outlook Team.  Welcome to Outlook".  NOTHING else!

However, I CAN still read all my Hotmail emails in Safari, FireFox and Google Chrome, but I shouldn't have to - especially since I'm not good at remembering passwords and I have to sign in again.  I want to get them back again in Internet Explorer!

When I compose a new email in OUTLOOK.COM and attempt to insert an attachment from any network share, I get the error message "Access denied".  This only happens with Internet Explorer 10.0.9200.16688.  It works just fine using Firefox, Chrome, Safari.

Can someone please help me.  This is impossible.  I have full control permissions on the network shares so please don't try to suggest its something

to do with file permissions.

Using Windows Vista - Have a program called "SweetPacks that keeps jumping in front on Internet Explorer from Bing - How do I get rid of Sweet Packs ?

Also computer is very slow at start up - anyway to correct this ?

My computer is a HPdv6700 Notebook - 32 bit o/s

I can sign on to my outlook.com email but once I am in I cannot open or send any email.(using internet explorer.  I Idownloaded Chrome and have not problem sending and receiving  How do i fix Internet Explorer to send and receive emails via Outlook>  I cleaned out my cache and nothing changed.

I am not able to open my emails. I use Outlook.com.  Win 7.  IE 10.  I was integrated from msn/Hotmail.com.  I am getting a pop up message that says the “internet has stopped working. Windows is checking for a solution to the problem.” The page then flashes.

The next pop up says, “Internet Explorer has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.”

The third pop up says “A problem with this webpage caused Internet Explorer to close and reopen the tab.”

This loops several times and then I get a message that says:

We were unable to return you to live.com.

Internet Explorer has stopped trying to restore this website. It appears that the website continues to have a problem.

 What you can do:

  Go to your home page

I am getting this error only when I am attempting to open emails. All other internet site function properly, no error messages. Please advise
This problem started Saturday September 21st. I tried to contact Miscrosoft help, but that was unsuccessful. I can't even get to the log in part with Internet Explorer and I normally use Mozilla (which gives me the error message
"Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later." when I try to access my inbox)

I already tried deleting my browser history, cache, cookies and updating both Firefox and Explorer. I used the link to check the status of my server, apparently my email account is "running normally". I optimized and reset my browser, nothing works.
I can access my email from another computer, but the one I currently use is the one I have with me at all times and need to access my email from.

I am willing to grant permission to access my account, please open a private messaging area for me.

I have tried everything in all Threads Related to Topic: I'm not able to work with attachments in Outlook.com.  All of the solutions you suggested do not work for me.  I'm still not able to attach a file to an email.  Once I goto Open the file I'm attaching, I get the message "Internet Explorer has stopped Working" and must close.

I have been reading everything in all the community for months.  Information you needed:

Email Address: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

Operating System: Windows 7 with SP1

Browser: Internet Explorer 10

Microsoft Silverlight version 5.1.2 or latest version

I am using a Personal Computer

I had Hotmail, but it was upgraded to Outlook.com in 2013

No, I did not make any changes myself to cause this problem.

Things I tried:

Problem started when upgraded to Outlook.com

I had Internet Explorer 9, but tried upgrading to IE10 & still didn't work

Reset Internet Explorer Settings

Checked for Windows Updates & Updated

Deleted cookies, caches & temporary files

Uninstalled Silverlight

When that didn't work - Reinstalled Silverlight

Logged out of all Microsoft & logged back in

Used In-Private Browsing

In between all of this, I restarted my PC, but STILL IT DOES NOT WORK!

I recently made the mistake of trying Comodo anti-virus.

When I uninstalled it, my ability to access outlook.com from internet explorer was gone.

Now, each time I try, it errors out, gives me the message it cannot sign in to outlook.com at that time, and to try back later.  I have rolled back IE all the way back to IE 8 trying to fix this, but to no avail.

I can access it through Chrome, but it is annoying to have to use a completely different browser just to read my email.

Surely someone can help with this.
