I have a new iPhone5 and transferred all files and settings from the old phone. Now I can receive but not send my hotmail on the phone. I am being told that my password or user account is wrong but it is not.
2011 for Mac- getting error notice that the program can't send email due to server issue. Same server info in iphone sends with no problem. Comcast refuses to help. I've un-installed & re-installed the program but it didn't help.
Outlook receives email with no problems.
Any ideas here?

I have my hotmail account set up on my iphone but none of my emails are showing up, ie inbox, sent, or received. If I log in via computer they are all there.
I deleted my hotmail folders on my Iphone 5 and did not realize they would also be deleted in Hotmail. Anyway I can get them back?

Got a new iPhone. On old iPhone msgs that were deleted or read on Hotmail were auto deleted or marked as read on iPhone. With new phone all msgs show up as new (unread) and even though they're deleted on Hotmail, they still show up on my phone. Can't
remember how I fixed it years ago with old phone. Thanks!

I can successfully sync my Outlook for Mac calendar with with my iMac calendar. I can also sync calendars between all my Apple devices, iMac, Macbook, Macbook Air, iPad & iphone provided I enter the details using Apple calendar. What I wish to achieve
is for any calendar item I enter in to Outlook to sync with all my other Apple products. The key seems to be that all Apple devices use the icloud calendar whereas Outlook synchronises using a non iCloud account. Is there a way to make Outlook default to the
iCloud calendar when synchronising.
Does Outlook for Mac sync hotmail accounts automatically so if I read a hotmail email on the mac it will be shown as read on my iphone ? Currently I use the Apple email program and it DOES NOT sync hotmail but does sync gmail
