I am using Outlook.com on my iPad, iPhone, PC and Mac.

Recently I moved an email from my Mac Mail app into the Archive folder. On the PC, Mac and on the web based Outlook.com I can see the messages in the Archive folder. However I cannot see them in the Archive folders on the iPhone or iPad.

If I put and email into the Archive folder on my iPad or iPhone it show up on all devices.

Why are some Archive messages missing from my iPad and iPhone?
I was having issues with my hotmail account, so I deleted and readded the accoun to my iphone. Now that I have readded my account, I can only see email on my iphone, not my hotmail calandar or contacts.  I used the chat service and they were not able to resolve.  I followed the online directions to add my email, but no option for hotmail was available, I had to http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/outlook/to-go .  No option was offered to select fields.

I'm having huge problems as is my husband with our Hotmail accounts. After weeks and weeks of trying to resolve a problem with his xbox and the email address, my email has started to play up. After using my email address as a secondary contact on his xbox, it locked me out of the account and I had to reset the password. Having done this, I can access my email on my lap top and via the safari on my iphone, however whenever I try to set my email as the iphone email address in settings it tells me the password is wrong. The same thing happens when I use the messenger app, I cannot log in as it tells me the password is incorrect. My husband has had the repeat problem since having his ipad and iphone this year and I have no idea what we are doing wrong.

I've turned my phone on and off again and tried to sync it! Now what???

what should my settings for hotmail be on my iphone, i seem to be able to receive emails, but not send them. I use Windows live mail
Hi,

I have 2 hotmail account that I have set up on my iPhone and iPad; however, I mostly use these devices to check my email rather than logging into my account using my computer. When I log into outlook.com, I notice that I all the emails that I have READ and DELETED from my iPad/iPhone did not deleted. Can someone please to me what's happening here because this is really irritating, I don't want to have to read/deleted emails on my iPad/iPhone and have to logo into my email through my computer and having to repeat the same steps. Thanks

Nickie

Hi,
An MSFT person has suggested I repost this Question here, first posted http://community.office365.com/en-us/forums/154/p/200973/601354.aspx#601354

I am looking for a way to AUTOMATICALLY upload taken photos from an iPhone to a specified shared directory in Skydrive.  Currently the public Skydrive but also hopefully the skydrive site within Office365

I have an Office365 12 user site that also have the public Skydrive.  Eight of the staff are mobile and have iPhones.

We need to be able to upload photos pics direct into a folder / sub folder in Skydrive.  That destination folder can change, but all live on one user's main account with paid extra storage.  So:

Scenario:

User 1 has main skydrive account and shares Folder1, Folder2, etc.

User 2 wants to upload a pic into Folder1

User 3 wants to upload a pic into Folder2

Users can navigate within the iPhone Skydrive app to the shared folder, click on the Upload, select one or multiple pics, and upload.

But, is there a way to take photos on the iPhone and, with appropriate share permissions set, AUTOMATICALLY upload direct into a folder Shared by another user?

Thanks

Les

I have my outllook.com email set up as exchange on my iPhone and my mail and calendar works fine, but I am having trouble getting my contacts to sync with my phone. Everything else syncs as expected.

Scenario 1: I update a contact on outlook.com or the people app on windows 8.1 and the change is not pushed to my iPhone contacts and vice versa.

I have removed the exchange account and tried using the standard outlook.com set up on the iPhone, but that doesn't work either.

Any suggestions?
Hello,

If I delete a message on any of my IMAP connected devices (Mac Mail, iPhone) it will automatically delete on all of my other IMAP devices, but not on outlook.com It appears as though it does not sync deleted messages properly.

For example, if I get a new email and I delete it on my macbook air, it will delete on my iPhone and iMac, but it will still be on outlook.com in the inbox.

HOWEVER IT GETS EVEN MORE ODD:

When I delete something from one of my IMAP connected devices, it will put a copy of the message in the trash, but it still keeps a copy in the inbox, and even deleting it from trash on my imap devices only deletes the copy in the deleted folder online.

This is driving me insane, I just switched from Gmail and this should not be happening.

So to recap:

I receive a message, read and delete it on my iPhone. The message will automatically remove itself from my MacBook and iMac via IMAP syncing. On outlook.com, the message still shows up, one copy in my inbox, and one copy in the deleted folder.

Please help!!
