Outlook is default, but emails created via word appear in Entourage

I have Outlook as my default email client, yet when I send a doc as an attachment via Word the email is created in Entourage. How do I resolve this issue as the tick box option to make Outlook the default client has been selected.

Mac Fraction Issue

Hi,

I am using Outlook 2011. I type 1/4'', this fraction looks correct when I send the email, but the recepient sees the fraction as 1Ž4". I then go to my "sent" mail and I also see that what I have typed is converted to 1Ž4". I have tried other fractions and the Ž character is inserted into those fractions too.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sending e-mails

I get a repeating notice saying "Hotmail wasn't able to complete this request. Microsoft may contact you about any issues you report". I cannot send any e-mails.What does it mean and how to overcome this issue?

Calendar not updating after meeting accepted

I am using a Mac Air with Outlook 2011. I have forwarded an existing meeting to 2 Exchange users to invite them to meeting. They both accepted. I went to look on my PC Outlook and the 2 users that accepted were not there. I then went back to the Mac and they weren't there either. What is going on? Is this a sync issue? An Exchange Server setting issue?

Clicking on the Calendar icon in Outlook – system spins for too long

I have Mountain Lion, Office 2011 - and the issue is specifically with Outlook client. When I am in mail and highlight a calendar item, the system just spins for a significant amount of time. When I double click on a calendar item, the system spins for a significant amount of time, when I click on the Calendar ICON - same thing.

I have rebuilt the DB, no improvement. I am connected to our corporate exchange environment - mail works fine - it's just everything to do with the calendar that is so slow.

Any ideas - my productivity is suffering.

Outlook not updating changes to the server

Outlook 14.2.3 and Mtn Lion 10.8,

Inbox is not updating changes to the server, new messages come in but any items that are deleted or moved are not updated on the server.

I have emptied Cache several times and this is not working.

IPhone mail is working fine and mirrors the server so its a sync issue of some kind from Outlook. Please help?

When I delete messages from the Inbox, it never appears in Deleted Items

Original Title: "Hi I am using Outlook for Mac 2011 with IMAP settings. When i delete messages from the inbox, i dont see the deleted msg anywhere. Not even in the deleted messages folder. Pl help"

Another issue: i can see flagged messages in my inbox, in my ''tasks'' folder as well. I deleted tasks today and it deleted the flagged emails from my inbox as well. Now need to recover all the flagged messages.... pl help

Outlook for Apple Mac 2011

I have a new MacBook and have outlook 2011.

When I try to access emails stored on my remote central data base they are shown as .msg when I attach any of these files to my emails door sending it still shows as a .msg

These files have been saved onto this remote data base using the outlook 2010 format and only seems to be an issue with the Mac 2011 office.

Does any body know if there is a setting in outlook 2011 I need to go to? Sending emails with .msg is not an option for my clients as they are unreadable.

I am using the new Macbook Pro Retina 15". In Outlook when I'm composing a new email and start typing the recipient in the To box, the suggested names come up but they are off the screen and I can't scroll through them unless I move the message very far down on my screen. Does any know of this issue or have a fix?
