My junk mail is suddenly going into my inbox and my inbox mail is going to my junk mail. They are completely reversed.  This has happened suddenly today.  I've changed the filters and the mail setting is on Exclusive.
It just started a couple of days ago but all of a sudden I am getting JUNK mail in my Inbox instead of in my junk folder..I  have not changed any of my settings...
About a month ago, started getting tons of junk mail.  Rules are set to exclusive and worked for a couple of days and now I'm getting 15-20 junk mail in my inbox.  I looked through the questions and answers and copied some of the answers from the moderators but I am brand new at setting filters, rules, etc.  In fact, I really don't understand them at all.  Never had this much junk when it was Hotmail and didn't have that much when Outlook first started.
As of 2 days ago, all spam and offensive emails are being sent directly to my INBOX - Microsoft filter is not automatically deleting them or directing them at least to my junk mail.  What is Microsoft going to do about this?
All 3 of the hotmail accounts that we have are letting JUNK mail filter into out inboxes as of a week ago.  ALL of our settings are exclusive and safe send list.  I have read a ton of these post. IS there nothing being done about this?

I already set my Junk mail filter to exclusive and yet I am still receiving emails in my Inbox from senders not part of my contact list.

I have had this account for years, and never had an issue until recently. I have rechecked my contact lists and ‘safe senders’ to insure that only persons or groups I know are able to reach my inbox. However, obvious junk is still being sent there, for example I just received an email from @s9z.pqex3n.5ixy.net which is not even a valid domain…
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have outlook on my android phone.  I have "synced" all my folders and everything works fine, just like using outlook on my laptop. However, when I try to empty or delete emails from my junk mail folder, there is no icon or tab or the little trash can symbol to be able to delete them nor is there a way to "select all" so I can then empty or delete multiple emails at once. PLEASE HELP!  This is driving me crazy because I get about 100 junk mail emails each day and I have to delete them one at a time!!

I set up mail filters on my account some weeks ago when I started getting a lot of junk mail. I am on "exclusive", so everything that is not on my safe senders list should go straight into junk. However as of today this seems to have stopped working. I've deleted a whole load but there's currently another 3 just in so you check those if you wish. Very annoying as if these filters don't work I'm going to have to stop using this email account.

Suddenly I'm getting junk mail in my inbox from people not in my address book, why?
I keep getting junk mail delivered to my inbox even though my filter is set to exclusive. This started about two days ago. The senders sometimes have hotmail.com or msn.com but not always. I didn't change any settings on my account and I believe that I'm not the only one with this problem. I already went through my approved senders list and deleted any unwanted ones. However, for each address I block, 10 new ones will be created. Please fix this bug promptly because I don't want penis enlargement or **** ads in my inbox. I understand that I have to keep checking my junk folder for any emails I want and have had no problem doing this frequently. Thanks.
