Usually there are road bumps to working with either Hotmail or Outlook.com, but now things are getting quite tricky.  Our company regularly prunes deleted and junk mail, and while we sometimes have problems with the Outlook.com account (sometimes it decides not to send anything out, giving us mailer demon messages instead, only to have actually sent the mail or working properly within an hour or so), right now we are experiencing some worse-than-usual mailer demon problems.

Suffice it to say, sending out e-mails with photographs gets us the failed to send mailer demon notes, and we are unable to send ANY e-mail to ourselves (to the same e-mail, that is).

We've cleared the caches, turned the computer off and let it rest, sent multiple tests to other e-mails (including to the troubled e-mail itself) and the issue has presented itself on two separate computers.  We've also delved into the settings, thinking something might have been changed, but it remains the same as before the troubles began.

Is this just a passing issue with Outlook.com/Hotmail, or is this a persistent  issue?
I have Hotmail and I am unable to get any 'junk mail' messages.  Recently I need a message that went to my junk mail that I am unable to retrieve. 

hi, well since I downloaded iOS7 on my iphone 5, my junk mail on my mail app wont update and so no junk mail from my hotmail account ends up there..can anyone help? Ive been trying . Ive got the junk folder on my hotmail folder but just doesnt seem to update. its really frustrating. I could view it all before. thanks in advance

 

I want to get rid of the banner in the Outlook Junk folder that covers about one and a half messages and says "Looking for an email? If you don't find it here, check your blocked senders list." I got the tip, and now it is just covering up a couple of messages so i can't read them or delete them until i delete the ones above them.  I am on Windows 8 using latest version of I.E. 10

I read a previous reply but was not applicable.  This is a real space waster and annoyance.  Any help?

I have not received anything in the junk mail and need to get this working.  What can I do?  There had been email sent that was to be in the junk mail 

I noticed a couple of days ago that mail that usually goes straight to my junk folder is now going to my inbox folder. I have changed no settings at all. has been business as usual on my end. I have noticed other people have had this problem and nothing has worked until an admin steps in and does something. Please dont suggest to me all the settings changes you have in the other posts. They dont work. And as i stated... I have made no changes to my account so it isnt on my end.
 My problem is the safe senders list is not accepting my safe domains and they are constantly going into the junk folder?  I run exchange through a hosted exchange server.  I have it set up on my desk top at the office, laptop, and home computer.  I do this as i travel constantly and like the access from anywhere without missing anything. Not sure if this could be the issue but its not working.  How do i get the server to accept my safe senders list?
I have created rules for not allowing mail with with words and phrases involving credit reports, credit approval, credit score etc. to even get into my junk mail but I am being flooded with it.  How do I get the rules to work?

I do not receive e-mails from anyone who is not on my contact list.  For instance, if I ordered something from LLBean and they wanted to send a confirmation to me, unless I had the exact e-mail address they were sending from in my contact list, I would not receive it.  It doesn't go into may spam or junk mail either...I want junk mail that I can filter and go through and deete when I want.....

I am using Windows Live Mail 2011 on a new Windows 7 laptop.  My mail is IMAP and I keep getting loads of junk mail in my inbox.  Nothing is in the junk mail folder.  When I click the junk button it says the mail can not be moved.  When I select the down arrow and block the domain, the junk keeps coming.  I tried the "repair" suggestion from the forum, but nothing has changed.  Please help me to get the junk out of my inbox.
