I've got a small problem, due to the placement of the Not Junk and Phishing Scam buttons, I have accidentally added a Spam account email address to my contacts list. Currently my inbox is set to Exclusive, I have checked my Safe Senders list and Mailing
Lists, this address does not appear in there, I have checked my People (contacts list) and it's not there either, but for some reason I can't stop the emails. I've got two email rules set to delete this **** but it doesn't work either. To give you an idea
this is how the emails are normally constructed *** Email address is removed for privacy *** on behalf of _VanquisCreditCard-UK_ (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) Now 90% of these mails all use the same fictitious sent on behalf of email address Does anyone know how to remove these so they no longer come into
my Inbox. Why on earth did MS stick the Phishing Button on the same button as Not Junk mail, the only reason this has happened is because the Not Junk Mail button has set up hidden rules and allowances that I can't find or undo.
Hi, I get some of my junk mail in my inbox. I tried raising the security to exclusive and still get junk mail. How can I solve this problem?
Thanks,
Loel
My inbox is now being infiltrated by all sorts of junk mail. Despite blocking future junk mail and future junk mail in my inbox, it still comes, up to 80 or so a day. I have also changed my password, but still no improvement. The junk mail seems to hail
from United States banks and businesses and credit places, along with the usual ones wanting to hook up, etc. Should I close this account and open another with google instead of hotmail?
I have no problem accessing my email account but when I click on my inbox or any message in my inbox it is greyed out and will not open. I can go to reply and read my mail but am limited to just reading it which is senseless. my junk mail folder
works the same way. II am using Win 7,Silverlight and the current Internet Explorer. My mail account used to work until It changed to Outlook.
I have had a great influx of junk mail in my inbox recently. My settings have not changed. What's happening, and how do I fix it?
My Outlook has been set to Exclusive for many months. Just this week, I have been receiving junk mail in my regular inbox. The e-mail messages are NOT from senders in my contacts list. I am having to individually select each of those messages and move
them to my junk folder. From the junk folder, I am having to individually select them again and then click on "Sweep" in the menu bar and then select "Block from" on the drop down menu. This process is very time consuming. It would be much simpler if the
Exclusive setting actually worked as designed (and, as I might say had been working properly for many months). What is going on? Why, all of a sudden, is some junk mail now coming to my regular inbox rather than to the junk folder where it is supposed to
be going?
For the last week I have been getting junk mail sent to my inbox. My settings are already at exclusive for junk mail. I have read all the other posts here and I am not the only one having this problem. When is Outlook going to fix this? I do not appreciate
junk, spam and phishing messages in my inbox. I am really disgusted with Outlook since the switch from Hotmail and this just adds to my list of reasons.
I have been receiving what should be junk mail in my Outlook inbox. I have repeatedly tried to ban the address without success. Today I was cleaning up my contact list and found one name which could not be deleted nor could I edit any info for this name/address.
I believe this person's account is the portal for my receiving these unauthorized mailings, and this email acct may have been hacked. Any suggestions how to remove this name or correct this problem? Thanks!
Hello...
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to keep the junk mail that I mark as JUNK and BLOCK to stop from getting through over and over again? It's annoying to mark it as junk, and then block the contact only to have it get through over and over again day after day. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am sick of all the E-cig emails and emails that promise to get me out of debt! Thank you for your time.
