Last message received in Junk Mail is dated 29th Sept. Despite usually receiving a handful of junk messages a day, I now receive none. I tried to book a flight online, and the confirmation message should have shown up in junk, but has disappeared into
cyberspace. Fourth time I am experiencing this - VERY disruptive! I have changed no settings, done nothing different. WHERE ARE MY MESSAGES???

Hi, I'm having serious issues with the sweep and junk functions in my mail box. Until recently this has worked fine but i started receiving junk messages that i could not seem to block. When i select the message and sweep>delete all from>also block future
messages i get the following message "Okay, you've deleted 0 messages from [junksender, normally something like =?UTF-7?B?K0FGOC1WYW5xdWlzQ3J] and added them to your blocked list". And it
is obviously not blocking them. I thought that my blocked list was full as i've been adding to it for what seems like centuries so I cleared my blocked list and am trying to block recent junk. But this is not working Can anyone help as I'm getting a ridiculous
amount of junk mail and i'm tempted to stop using this account?

About a month ago, started getting tons of junk mail. Rules are set to exclusive and worked for a couple of days and now I'm getting 15-20 junk mail in my inbox. I looked through the questions and answers and copied some of the answers from the moderators
but I am brand new at setting filters, rules, etc. In fact, I really don't understand them at all. Never had this much junk when it was Hotmail and didn't have that much when Outlook first started.

I received 2 identical emails from Outlook team (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) with the topic "Update your account to receive pending messages).
The message that follows is this:
Your account has been temporarily blocked
Someone may have used your account to send out a lot of junk messages or done something else that violates the Microsoft services agreement.
What you need to do?
I can still log on to my account, so I'm wondering if this is a scam. I haven't reset the account.
Thanks in advance!

I absent-mindedly hit the Delete 'X' button next to the Junk folder in the folder list on the left of the WLM window - meant to collapse folders, not delete contents. As this was the Junk folder, deleting messages bypasses the Deleted folder & goes straight
to delete messages.
Can I recover these messages, as I hadn't reviewed them, to check that no messages I was meant to receive had been sent to the Junk folder in error?

The message I get is Your account has been blocked Why are you seeing this? Someone may have used your account to send out a lot of junk messages (or something else that violates the Windows Live Terms of Service). We're here to help you get your account
back. What do you need to do? We'll walk you through a few steps to verify that you own the account, then have you change your password in case someone else has been accessing your account. It should only take a few minutes and then you'll be unblocked and
on your way. We've cleaned your account settings Often customers get here because someone else has access to your account and are using it without your knowledge to send spam. To protect you and your contacts, we've removed any Hotmail auto-replies or linked
accounts you may have had. Please help
