In the past few days I have begun seeing a small blue down arrow next to all of the messages that appear in my Junk folder.  This has never happened before, and I'l like to know what it means.
I don't need a mail client adding "possible junk mail" to the subject of my e-mails, especially when the sender is on my safe sender list.  I don't need a nanny, anyway, and prefer to make my own choices regarding spam.

How do I get Windows Live Mail to stop adding that?

Thanks,

Win7

The system won't let me block mail from @yahoo.com
SMART FOLDERS
My save searches for SMART FOLDERS are not sticking in Outlook 2011 of Mac.  I have a edit the smart folder every day to exclude my DELTED, SENT, JUNK folders for a save search for TODAY's emails.  I like to look in this smart folder view as I move mail into various folders on my Exchange server and local "on my computer."  The feature works great, but I have to rebuild the FOLDER filter every time.  The Advance search keeps the "FOLDER IS NOT" search filter, but breaks the "FOLDERS" to exclude.  Mark
The message I get is   Your account has been blocked Why are you seeing this? Someone may have used your account to send out a lot of junk messages (or something else that violates the Windows Live Terms of Service).  We're here to help you get your account back. What do you need to do? We'll walk you through a few steps to verify that you own the account, then have you change your password in case someone else has been accessing your account. It should only take a few minutes and then you'll be unblocked and on your way. We've cleaned your account settings Often customers get here because someone else has access to your account and are using it without your knowledge to send spam. To protect you and your contacts, we've removed any Hotmail auto-replies or linked accounts you may have had.   Please help

I keep getting junk mail and hitting sweep, so I block them, but I keep getting them from the same sites. I also seem to get more and more junk mail.

i have received an email, but i forgot to save it to inbox, now the email already expired and automatic deleted. how can i do to retrieve the email. thanks

I'm sure I speak for millions of others when I request that the spam filtering in Hotmail be able to be disabled.  Its doesn't work.  It constantly grabs legit email and sends it to Junk.  And what is incredibly short sighted is that I can't retrieve Junk folder messages by POP.  If I could it wouldn't be such a problem.  But for most of us that have used POP, we realize its superiority to webmail and dread having to use our browser to retrieve email as its so slow and cumbersome.

So either allow Junk to be retrieved by POP or allow us to disable this useless feature.

And there should be buttons that say BLOCK SENDER and BLOCK SUBJECT and BLOCK SUBJECT WORD (like Viagra, enhancement, ciallis, etc) so filtering stuff doesn't take 20 clicks with a mouse.  Its not as if you don't have room on the page.  Or right click a message and pick from a bunch of filtering options.  The point is make spam quick to filter.

The SmartScreen filter keeps blocking my favorite newsletter, and even after I move said newsletter to my inbox, I STILL have to click to show the content EVERY TIME I open the email. I've marked the newsletter as "not spam" every time I get the newsletter, and Hotmail continues to ignore that command and sends each one right to the junk folder. I tried adding the sender to my contact list, but that didn't help, and there's no helpful button nearby, as there seems to be for all my other messages, that says "add sender to contacts" or "approve sender" or some such.

Not the world's biggest problem, but it's getting REALLY annoying. How do I fix this?
