Getting some but not all emails for windows live

H!  I hope you can help me.  I have a laptop and am getting all my emails from Windows Live.  My husband recently bought a new laptop and he is getting some but not all of the emails.  We both use the same email address.  I have uninstalled his Windows Live at least 3 times and installed it again.  He's still not getting them.  We have Windows 7.  I have compared his laptop with mine  under "Accounts" and then "Properties".  They look the same to me.  Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!  Thank you!

I mostly use my laptop with cox communications mail server for my mail account.  My wife uses a pc with Windows Live Mail (she also has a laptop with no email set up yet) which is the center of our home network system.  I want to use a mail, calendar and contact program that can sync my calendar, mail and contacts between the network pc, my laptop, my wife's laptop, my iPhone4s and my wife's iPhone4s.  Is this possible and what program fits our needs the most?  Windows Live, Outlook Express, or MS Outlook?

For medical reasons, I have short-term memory problems.  Having calendars and contacts sync between the computers I use and those my wife uses would be extremely helpful to our family.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am sending emails on my laptop using windows live they go into my sent items but never arrive. I can receive email on the laptop and can send and receive emails using the same account on other computers. Windows live has been working fine on the laptop for several months?

Lost email after battery discharged…

I was in the process of writing an email in WLM 2012 without realising I was running my laptop on battery power. I was distracted for some time & when I returned to the laptop the battery had discharged & the laptop had shut down. I plugged in the charger/adapter & when the laptop came back to life it stated it was 'Resuming Windows'. Unfortunately there was no sign of the unfinished message. (I searched Drafts)

Is there anything similar to the Autorecover option in Microsoft Word 2007, in WLM2012? If so, where might I find the recovered email message?

Windows Live Essentials

I downloaded WLE to my desktop, it synced to my Laptop.  Both are running Windows XP pro w/sp 3.    The  Photo Gallery works perfectly on the laptop, but is a mess on desktop.  So I removed the desktop program in Add/Remove Programs, and reinstalled Live Essentials on desktop.  Now, in Program Files (C drive) the laptop shows 36.9 MB, but the desktop shows 68.7 MB.  Why the difference?  I never did manually install the program in laptop.

Windows Live Mail error 0x80048849

Recently installed latest Win Live mail from Microsoft site on new Win7Sp1 laptop. Fails quite often (error 0x80048849) on two Hotmail accounts (sometimes is ok) but is ok on a Bigpond & a GMail account. Also have another Win7SP1 laptop & Win Live Mail has worked fine for 2 years. (I think software on the two laptops are different versions but not sure how to find the exact version number). Any suggestions appreciated or should I uninstall current version & install an earlier version.

Change status of files from access offline to access online only

I wish to save space on my laptop and effectively shift files that have been stored offline on my laptop to access online only. I have changed the status of folders to online access only but this has not necessarily changed the status of every file within sub or sub-sub-folders, many of whch remain access offline. I simply do not have the time to go through every folder and folder structure - is there not a simple over-write to do this top-down or do I really have to go through each individual file?

Windows 8.1 Sync Issue

Hello,

I purchased a Windows 8 laptop in February 2013 and set up Skydrive on it, my desktop PC, and my Android phone. I had some issues with the laptop so I returned it, but continued to use Skydrive on my desktop and my Android phone with no sync issues between the two. I purchased a new latptop last week and it has Windows 8.1 on it. For some reason now the phone and desktop are still syncing fine but the laptop shows the files from March of 2013 from when I stopped using the laptop and none of the new ones. Can someone please help with this? I already ran the troubleshooting download and that did not help. Thank you!

Messages disappear from my smart phone

I have a new Samsung Galaxy SIII. I use Outlook exchange on my laptop and on the phone. When the laptop account is on, messages disappear from my phone account. When the laptop acct is off no problems. Even a Verizon Techie couldn't resolve this.

The message “photo.jpg contacted a virus and was deleted” occurs when I send a photo from my iPhone via email to my laptop. Help!

All of a sudden this is happening and my photos are being deleted.  How can the photos have a virus?  I stood in my room, snapped a photo with my iPhone, immediately emailed it to my laptop, opened my Hotmail/outlook email account, opened the email I just sent myself with the new picture, but when I try to save the picture to my laptop so I can print it, I get that message at the bottom:  "photo.jpg contacted a virus and was deleted." 

 

So this means I can no longer send photos to my laptop via email.

 

How can that photo have contacted a virus?

 

I am losing all the new photos I have taken, lost when I prompt outlook/Hotmail to save them.  Bummer.  Please help.
