When I send a letter the contact name takes forever to come up, when I attempt to reply the contact name takes forever to show
Spell checker is keying in on the last few letters of words I KNOW are spelled correctly.  Have to back up and reenter last letter to get rid of it.  This has kicked in the past four days.  Closing hotmail and opening again (even after the laptop has been totally shut down or restarted) does no good.
How do I edit an address, the only change being one letter from lower case to upper case?
Suddenly, I find my "Hotmail in" page with "fonts"---or letter sizes, so small, I can hardly read.

I cannot find any tool shown that will allow altering to normal.
I noticed that when I typed in a clients email address and hit enter everything was ok. But I forgot a letter. I added the letter and clicked enter and his named showed up with an outline and a  oval -- maybe I'm off base totally, but is there some database that Outlook can "see" something...?
I seem to have contacts (when I use the send feature and type in one letter only) that show up nowhere else but I cant delete them and cant find them in the contact section that does contain my legitimate contacts.  How can I delete them?  (Hotmail)
I am working with a MacBook Pro running OS X 10.6.8.  It just had a new hard drive installed, OS X re-installed from the factory disks.  I did all Apple updates, then installed Office 2011 and did all its updates.

I migrated the user off via FireWire boot up mode to another Mac, I migrated back to this hard drive the same way.  When I migrated back, outlook was already populated.  I had not migrated the apps off originally, only the user data.  The Microsoft Identity folder must have brought the outlook account back with the migrate.

The problem I mention in the title of this post happened the first time the user tried to reply to an e-mail.  This has not happen if we start a new e-mail.  I recreated the problem by starting a reply.  No beeps through the first word typed.  But when you press the space bar to start the next word, a beep sound is heard.  Then when you type the first letter of the next word, another beep.  No more beeps until you press the spacebar to start the third word, and then another beep from the first letter of the third word.  I then typed a whole bunch of random letters without the spacebar.  No beeps after the first character, until the next spacebar. I can change the beep sound played by going into "Sounds" in system preferences.  The "alert" sound seems to be the one I hear.

If during this beeping period the spinning beach ball comes ups, I can continue to type, hearing my unfortunately expected beeps.  But the words that I managed to type will now be "sprayed" all over the page.  In between previously typed sentences, up and down in the un-typed areas.

Are the beeps some type of advanced paragraph editing setting that I can turn off?  It this a glitch from migrating the user account off a failing hard drive ("Keys are out of order" message in disk utility made me want to replace the hard drive)?  Should I uninstall manually all of Office 2011 then reinstall?

Thanks for reading this, any assistance will be appreciated.

I had this problem last week and it was temporally fixed but the problem is back. I check all my settings (HTTP) to no avail. I'm supposed to access a list of choices when i type the first letter of the contact but all it does is spin and spin. No matter what computer i use it's the same as my personal computer. I'm sure it has something to do with Hotmail and not my settings. please help!!!!
I've tried everything suggested online but nothing works, how can I delete all the old recently emailed list from my inbox. I know how to go to options and click only show people in my contact list but I want to remove them forever. When I type in an A-Z in the To: or Ccc/Bcc all the people with that letter pops up. If I could just delete the recently emailed list that would go away. Can anyone in tech support explain!!
pleaoy xxxxse keep in contact

Words/sentances can be moved to other places when inputing single letters possibly vowels. I have watched my wife inputing text and seen it happen. I have never been able to replicate it. She is not touching other keys.
Very odd
