After my Time Machine restore, I had to re-enter my license number - all well and good - but I keep getting those Office Reminders going off like fireworks. I remembered that the problem could be solved by rebuilding my Main Identity. So I held down the
option key while starting Outlook.
Now I'm locked in a vicious cycle of trying to rebuild the database. I get a message that all MS apps need to be closed (which I've already done - including quitting the MS daemon) and when I click OK, I get another screen telling me that some applications
could not be closed. I click again and get back to the all apps must be closed dialog box again. And if I just quit the process and open Outlook again, the reminders just keep cycling (although I kill that process, too).
What to do?
