Dear *********************

In order to keep our customers safe, we had to suspend your e-mail account. This happened because your e-mail was tagged as a VIRUS account.

That's why you're prompted to verify your account to re-activate your Hotmail e-mail service by following the link below:

http://du598w.dub452.mail.live.co.uk/mxil/HEpLight.aspx?HOP-VER=wli&n=48902409

Spammers sometimes use automated programs to create WindowsLive or other email accounts and then send unsolicited spam messages to others.

When you click the verification link, you're asked to login again on our secured website. By completing our verification form, you prove that you're a human, and not a spam program.

Hotmail will occasionally prompt you to verify your account again, just to make sure you're still you and your account hasn't been compromised for spam purposes.

Thank you ,

WindowsLive e-mail security department

Failure to confirm your records in 24 hours may result in permanent account suspension. The security verification process is automated and is not designed to be time-intensive. In most situations, you should be able to confirm your identity and restore your account in a few minutes.
Why am I getting e-mail messages from friends in junk mail with a totally different address than theirs? When I look at the message, all that is there is a link to an advertisement. How do whoever is sending this message get my friends' names to use to send me messages? Has my account been hacked or have my friends' accounts been hacked?
When an email address is included in a message to me it looks like a link. I should be able to click this link and automatically open a new email message (like all other email software). This does not work in Outlook 2011 Mac. Why? How can I fix it?
