I have checked the contact filter and that is set not to filter any of my contacts.
I have a recently created a new outlook.com account which is also my Microsoft Account. It seems only 'Email' is available to sync, no Contacts or Calendar is listed, Calender syncs fine. Syncing newly added Contacts from outlook.com and gmail seems to work.

I had my email *** Email address is removed for privacy *** connected with LinkedIn. I now have over 2000 contacts, and it has made Windows Live Mail (the desktop application) unusably slow.
I asked Microsoft to disconnect LinkedIn, which they did, but I still cannot find a way to delete all of the contacts.
How can get ALL contacts removed from my @live.com email account?
Thanks
Robert
Hi Everyone,
I'm really having trouble with my Hotmail and LinkedIn. LinkedIn have been really helpful but getting nowhere and have suggested it may be a problem with Hotmail.
So to start with, I have two Hotmail accounts, account A and B which were linked. Hotmail then cancelled this service so they were no longer linked.
I joined LinkedIn with email B, but when I went to add my contacts it only picked them out from email A, which I didn't want.
I checked the settings of email A to make sure it is not linked to Linked in, and it appears there are no connections, yet when I receive emails from LinkedIn they are still copied to email A.
When I'm on LinkedIn and try to import my contacts from email B it just tells me my log in is incorrect, which is wrong.
I've made sure email A is nowhere to be seen on my LinkedIn, yet it still seems to be attached somehow.
Has anyone else had this problem?
I'm wondering if the problem stems from the two Hotmail accounts being linked together to start with?
If anyone can help please let me know!
Many thanks
Michelle
I am still getting to know my new email but nevertheless have to say I was staggered when transferring some content relating to my Chairmanship of a school governing body from my previous Windows Live Mail address with Waitrose to my new inbox that it opened bearing a photograph of my wife against the sending address which she tells me is that from her Facebook page.
I have sought no links with Facebook nor for that matter with Twitter or LinkedIn and find this unsolicited intrusion unacceptable (I subscribe to none of them).
Why and how did it occur and how can I get rid of it and ensure that it doesn't happen again if I find I need to import more historical emails?
I was duped into sending (or trying to send) this message earlier by naively believing that the invitation to "add to contacts" the email address which welcomed me into this new world actually meant I could use it as a contact but it quickly came back as undeliverable from yet another address about Hotmail...............customer friendly or what?
I acknowledge my limitations as to computer literacy but that just means surely that it should be made easier for me to contact you for help from time to time but I am given to understand that this is the only game in town.
I await your advice with thanks in anticipation.
