After deleting a contact from the contact list, when I enter the first letter of the name on the "send to" line, the old deleted contact still appears in the pop up list. How to remove this contact from the history list?

After update on Mountain Lion there is a problem with displaying attendees' response icons (Accepted, Declined, Tentative) in the list of attendees. Half of an icon is overlapped with calendar view. Calendar view horizontal scrolling sometimes breaks vertical
lines.

With the new format-I cannot figure out where to go or how to put a new contact on my favorite list. I see nothing to click like on the old format!

I discovered the Flagged Mail 'Smart' folder this morning. Clicked on one of the flagged emails, but clicked too far to the right, which cancelled the flag and the email disappeared from the list. Did a search for it, reapplied the flag, then went to
return to my inbox and was asked if I wanted to save the changes to the 'Smart' folder, which I did, and now the Flagged Mail 'Smart' folder only contains the emails from the results of the search that I did! I really do NOT like this Outlook!! It's riddled
with booby traps.

I opened contacts and saw the complete list of individuals. The clicked 'manage groups' and added a group. There does not seem to be any way of adding names to that group. It used to be easy to put together a group, before the new listing under the
heading of 'People'.

I try to send out an invitation to a meeting through the Calendar function in Outlook 2011 for Mac, but can't get the reply options to show up in the message. The message is sent out to the people I invite, but they can't accept or not accept the invitation.
Do I need an Exchange account to make this possible?
I have my e-mails set up as IMAP-account on the web host one.com.
What other functions in Outlook (if any) require an Exchange account instead of an IMAP-account?
If I reply to a meeting invitation sent to me from some one, and I accept the meeting, will everybody on the invitation list see that I have accepted the invitation or only the person who sent the message to me?
Thanks,
Karin

When I click on edit, there is not a place to put in a birthday. The old contact list had this so I want to add birthdays to some of my contact names.
