why is a contact from my safe sender list not able to reply to my emails? Their reply message is bouncing back to them.

An initial message from this sender was received in my junk mail folder. When I replied to their message, they received it, but were not able to reply (their message bounced back to their email). I have marked this sender's email as 'not junk', they do not appear in my blocked email list and I added their email address to my safe sender list, and am still running into the same problem. What other changes can be made on my end to receive these messages from a safe sender?

My Hotmail account generally works fine, but I can no longer receive e-mails from one particular person. Their e-mail account is in my contacts list and my safe sender list and is not in my blocked sender list; it also worked fine until two days ago. I have taken the steps described here ( http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windowslive/forum/hotmail-email/im-not-receiving-emails-sent-by-my-family-or/377a9bf3-7975-4d76-a6eb-04dcc6d68097), and am still not getting e-mail from this person. It's not showing up in junk, they're on my safe list, in my contacts and not on my blocked list. I've even cleared my blocked list, to no avail. I have no e-mail sorting rules and my Junk filter is set to standard. I contacted Microsoft tech support online and was told to post the issue here. Any help would be appreciated.

Deleted (not emptied) trash folder.

I accidently deleted the trash folder from one of the accounts in my Live Mail (not the contents, the whole folder). Now my Live Mail will not work at all. I deleted the account and replaced it without effect. The Error Messsage is:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Charter (ew22155)(1) account. Header download for the 'Trash' folder did not complete. Could not select 'Trash' on the IMAP server. Try updating the folder list and then try again. [I am unable to find out how to 'update the folder list;' adding a folder does not work].

Server Response: The specified mailbox does not exist. [I can access it online.]

Even as I keyed this message, I got a beep indicating incoming mail. I checked and can now access my email (still no trash folder). However, when I close and reopened Live Mail, I got the same message again Tried sending a test mail from one account to the other; Windows Live Mail would not let it be sent.
