For a while now I have been trying (and following MS 'Help' instructions correctly!) to insert a logo into the signature of Live Mail.
When launbched the signature is exactly as formated except that in place of the logo I am trying to add is a placeholder with a little 'x' - no picture.
I posted yesterday about this and received a response that directed me to the following: http://wlmail.wordpress.com/sig-with-picture/.
I followed these instructions to the letter ... still the same issue: picture placeholder = yes, picture itself = no.
Does anyone have another way of doing what, honestly, should be an easy thing? Is there some little trick I am missing?
Thanks,
Ken
Honest! I have followed the instructions line by line as given in Help for Live Mail for adding a picture (a logo saved as a JPeG) to my email. It all looks great when I design it. But when I select the signature I have designed (and saved as html) the text arrives but the picture does not. There is a 'placeholder' for the picture with a little 'x', but no picture. When I test send it, a Live Mail pop-up appears saying it can't find the photo. This happens even when I design the signature with the text and picture in the same file.
Is there a trick that is not included in the instructions?
Thanks,
Ken
Do you have any ideas as to what is going on? Can Live Mail be corrupt? Should we remove the software and re-install?

My wife and I share a Hotmail account. We each have a laptop running Windows Live Mail. We each want to file or delete email without affecting the other person. However, this doesn't happen by default. Presently, if I delete an email in Live Mail, that email will shortly disappear from my wife's Inbox. Is there anyway that I can disable that sync'ing?
To make things more complicated, we would like to retain sync'ing of calendars and contacts. And, wife uses Windows Phone 7.5 as well as Live mail.
