This is a Live Mail question. I have an intermittent problem with mail that I send not being received. The mail msg leaves the outbox but is delayed in being received. I have been blind copying myself to see when this happens, but it doesn't seem to have
any pattern to it. My incoming mail always seems to get to me, regardless of the recipients. Only the outgoing mail is having problems. My email provider that I use/link to in Live Mail is Earthlink. Any suggestions as to what I can do? I have had Live
Mail since Nov 2011. This started happening about 2 months ago. Prior to that I hadn't had any problems.
Hi,
I have been having a problem all day with trying to send messages from my live mail. For some time before this the mail would not open for a few minutes, sending a message that there was a problem opening the file. It would finally open after a bit.
Today I am unable even to reply to messages. The box says that there is a problem but offers no solution.
Help!
How do I create new mail folders and otherwise organise mail in 'live ' mail in windows 8. I have searched but nothing I've seen resembles the screen I'm looking at. How can I bring up an options box or similar. I really regret getting a new machine with
windows 8.
My calendar reminders are no longer working in live mail. All I know I've done is install a lot of updates. When I look at my calendar and try to add an event, the reminder icon where the little bell is at the top of the page isn't highlighted so I can't
click on it.
I use Windows Live Mail. My Google Mail account also appears on my Live Mail screen. I have written an e-mail that I was intending to send from my Live Mail. I have pressed "send". For some reason the e-mail has appeared in my outbox, and is sticking there
without going away, and I get a message: "An unknown error has occurred. Subject 'Re: hello' Server: 'smtp.googlemail.com' Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0B Protocol: SMTP Port: 465 Secure(SSL): Yes". What is going on, and how can I send this message
off??? The message is short, has no attachment. I could re-write it, but then it would look as a fresh e-mail, and it would loose its now 3 days old sending date. This I would like to avoid. Other e-mails have gone since. Thanx for your help, Andrew.
I downloaded a version of Live Mail from Windows Live Essentials, as the mail programme shipped with Win 8 is rubbish and I need POP to manage my life. I set it up to communicate with my gmail server and initially it worked OK. But every time the PC is
shut down,e.g. overnight, and every time we change user accounts, Live Mail will not pick up any of the messages that have arrived at the server in the interim, and I have to log-in to my Gmail interface, re-send the new messages to myself, and then and only
then will Live Mail pick them up. If the PC is on and remains at the same user account, the pick-up works fine. I have checked the settings in the account set-up, and everything is correct, but this unreliability is driving me mad, I don't trust the program,
I have to check the Gmail at the server constantly to ensure I don't miss stuff. Can anyone help?
It is not the Intel graphics driver issue. Used to work well until 6-8 weeks ago. Reset system to date before then -- still does not open. Installed 2012 version -- still does not open. (Am using 2011 version). Revolving icon comes on screen and nothing
happens. Tried Fix it program -- did not resolve issue.
I wish to copy e-mails, which include videos, from Windows Live to my HDD.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It was working just fine, and then I got this message. And still get it, every time I try to open Live Mail.
