How can I upload this file to Outlook?

I have a lot of information on an Excel list that I would like to upload as individual tasks to my Outlook.
I need to delete some contacts. some I don't even know.. some I have on 3 or 4 times.. some I just don't want~ can't find the delete button~~ Thanks...

like a lot of other people, I also acquired an Outlook.com address some days ago and now I'm experiencing problems with Messenger. Most of the time all my contacts appear as being offline, but occasionally one or two will appear as being online. I know that many of the people listed as offline are in fact online, but I still can't see then. Why? I know it can take up to 24 hours for it to work, but it's been like three or four days already.

Just upgraded from 2004. Lot of questions coming, but this one is more urgent: emails just go out without the spell-check asking if I want to correct. thanks!
I keep getting a lot of responses in my inbox from email addresses that I haven't sent an email to. Among these are "undelivered responses". This has happened before and I ended up losing my email address and had to create another one. Can anyone suggest
how I can stop this please?
using Windows Live Mail to get my emails from work, we I first started using it, it did not take long to go out and pick up my emails. Now that I have received a lot (1,000's ) of emails it takes about 10 minutes to pick up my emails. It just says Checking emails..... and sits there for 10+ minutes
