Lately every time I use the windows live mail application to send mail instead of the mail going to whom I send the mail is sent to myself and arrives in my inbox as if the person I was sending the email to was the sender.  I have no idea how this could be happening but it is intensely weird

I'll try and be as clear as I can about this, I've confused myself quite thoroughly.

My aunt is using Windows Live Mail 2011 to check a pop email address, she also HAD (read HAD) a local calendar with a significant amount of data.

I linked her application with a newly created Live account hoping to allow her to access her calendar on other devices. I think discovered that I'd incorrectly used a .net TLD instead of .com. I attempted to chance the alias, only to find an existing Live account under her email address.

Thinking all was well I went about finishing setup, and then discovered her calendar information was gone.

Eventually I proved my theory correct, logged back in with the unverified (this will become important very shortly) incorrect .net tld account, and found her calendar. I found no way to export the calendar from inside the windows live mail application, and did not find the calendar actually synced to the account online.

I then made what is now the larger mistake, I attempted to give that account a real alias so I could verify it in hopes I would then be able to sync and export from outlook.com. This of course broke the tenuous connection I'd created between her local calendar and the incorrect .net account. I can't activate that alias without the ability to verify it, I can't find any documentation of where the Windows Live 2011 application actually stores it's calendar files and I'm just about out of my mind.

I have recently bought a new Mac. It is running Office for mac 2011, Home and Business including Outlook version 14.3.6.

My old G4 computer is running Office 2004 and its mail application is Entourage for mac 2004 version 11.4.0. I have tried to transfer my old emails to the new mac by using 'File Export' and exporting Microsoft User Data from the old mac document folder to an external hard drive. I have then used 'Import' to get this data from the external drive to the new mac - while my 2004 Microsoft User Data has been imported from the external storage including my Office 2004 identities, my old emails have not appeared in the new Outlook's window. How can I get these mail messages into Outlook on the new Imac?
When I use the mail application on my MacBook, I can receive emails however when I try to reply to them, it says that there is a server issue as my hotmail account is 'offline'. When I go on to my preferences and opened up the advanced settings, it appears that the SMPT (The outgoing mail server) is offline and the POP(incoming mail) is working fine. I have tried both selecting and unselecting the SSL check box, re-entered my password and I have also deleted and re-added the hotmail account to my mail app. When i log on to outlook.com both servers work fine and I am able to send emails from here so I am at a bit of a loss to why they wont send from the Mac Mail app.

I would be grateful for any suggestions on how this problem can be resolved! Many thanks.
