Just changed by Outlook password (turned out I didn't need to - just hap caps lock on by mistake) - but when I sign back in to Outlook, it puts me straight into my "microsoft account" page.
THERE IS NO WAY OF GEETTING OUT OF THIS PAGE - whatever I do, I can't access my email - there are no links or ways of going anywhere else other than "microsoft account".... I NEED to access my email... HELP !!
I wanted to use outlook.com for email services for my domain and the process has been completely confusing despite having read 6-7 articles about it.
I added the domain to outlook.com (I'll call it mydomain.com).
I created a new microsoft account in my domain, like *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.
I got to the page where it said my email address has not been verified. It showed *** Email address is removed for privacy *** as the primary alias.
There was no way I could find to verify my primary alias email address.
I created a new primary alias using @outlook.com. This one I could use.
I noticed it said it said I'd no longer be able to use the old primary alias. What? So the msft account I created as the admin account is dead?

I have a 50GB subscription to Skydrive.
I recently changed my Microsoft Account because I set up a new one using a custom domain. This wasn't a problem because I logged into my account using a local account and then logged into SkyDrive with my old MS account. No problem.
Then I installed windows 8.1 and now I'm stuffed. I don't want to log in to Windows using my old MS account - but my new one doesn't have my subscription attached.
I know MS don't move storage between free plans, but is it possible to make the move on my paid plan? Or do I just cancel it and then start again? (That would be very annoying, although it's due for renewal next month, so it could be more annoying).
Help!

When I attempt to read Microsoft mail, I am prompted to enter a password for my SBCGLOBAL account. ( I loaded this as a Microsoft account before Outlook came along). When I do so, the system tells me that is the wrong password. Eventually it sends me off to another page where I can only log in using my Outlook account.
I try to correct this (delete or add or change the SBCGLOBAL account in my account aliases but it is not listed there as an alias. And, I cannot add it as an alias.
When I try to add the SBCGLOBAL account as an alias, Micorsoft tells me the account already exists--I know since it is mine.
Do I just need to close my Microsoft account and start over?
My surname (CHICKEN) can be traced back to the 14th Century in the United Kingdom yet Microsoft will not let me use it. How can I change my Microsoft Account so that my real name is displayed.

Hello, I need help with recovering my Mothers Microsoft account since my Brother and I need the account to log back into Xbox Live since it's the parental account for it. We've tried to recover the password through the filling out of the forms but since
my mother didn't use any credit cards or actually use the account for email we can't fill the details for that. She also had forgotten the security question answer and so we're at a stand still for the moment since we can fill out the basic information but
that's not enough apparently. Also we don't know what email address gets the recovery password (most likely another old account which we've forgotten about !).Strangely enough we have access to the actual email (which is Blue-yonder) though Virgin Media but
it's a different password to this Microsoft account. I know that this is inconvenient but is there anyway for the recovery password to be sent to the actual Blue-Yonder email or anything as easy as that ? We can detail the Xbox Live accounts linked to the
Microsoft account and I have a general idea of what the password is (we remember 1 word of it we think). Also if this is in the wrong place sorry !

This is my Microsoft account I'm trying to recover *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. I've submitted two acsr forms, but the e-mails I get in reply tell me that my request is being ignored, because I have tsv enabled. And I need a account recovery request number so that the
x-box agents can escalate my case
