I have windows 8 on my computer with all my calendar information. I recently got a windows 8 phone. Love it. Most everything set up quickly and easily except office. I'm using the same Microsoft account on the computer and phone. I was able to get the phone to download the e-mail to my phone, but had to set it up manually as a pop account (for an @cox.net e-mail account). Now I can't figure out how to get the other office software to sync to the phone. It must be something simple, but have not found where or how to do that.

My Microsoft Account has a mail address *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. Now I have been shifted to outlook.com. All aliases of outlook.com have the same password. If one is compromised then all are compromised. And what is the use of having so many aliases.

Secondly, my login to my laptop requires me to type in the Microsoft account mail address and the password. If I want to change this password then how do I do it. There is lot of confusion. Please clarify.

Microsoft account blocked – unable to verify the account.

So, my account has been blocked. I can't receive the security code as its sent to the email account that's blocked... (logic.) And i cannot unblock it through the questionnaire as i can't provide enough details or information.

I CAN NOT UNBLOCK IT. DON'T 'HELP' BY SAYING RESET YOUR PASSWORD. As i can't, as I've said. I cant use the security code, i cant fill out the questionnaire. I haven't even been told as to why my account has been blocked and personally find it ridiculous as its my second account to get blocked.

This account is linked to my xbox live, and due to Microsoft new security proof on xbox live meaning you have to sign in to your Microsoft account before you can connect to xbox live, i can no longer use my xbox live profile. Which i am seriously annoyed about! All my game profiles, GAME ADD ON'S WORTH OVER £100 IN CONTENT, £40 worth of membership!, rep, achievements etc. etc. So i refuse to just let this go, and allow it to be blocked for no apparent reason.

So, dear the person to answer this or 'help' me. Please explain to me as to why my account was blocked, and then unblock it. Otherwise, Microsoft can pay the £140 or so that I've spent on that xbox live profile.

Recreate an account

I sent this message to support:
Yesterday I was about to join the Windows Phone Dev Center in order to submit an app, so I created a Microsoft account bound to my work address (info@???.net).

But before registering I wanted to cancel a personal Microsoft account. By mistake I canceled the one I had just created for professional use.

Now the system won't allow me to recreate the Microsoft account bound to that e-mail address, which is the one I need to submit the app from.

Furthermore, I'm in a hurry because I enrolled the Marmalade-Windows Phone 8 program (https://legacy.madewithmarmalade.com/wp8-hub) and time is running out.

They replied:
I understand that you accidently closed your live account info@???.net, I apologize but we are unable to provide support as this is an live account issue. Their is no Microsoft account associated to that email account. I suggest that you contact Live support to request assistance, once you are their select "Live Chat with Customer Service". You will select assistance with live Id option for further assistance, let me know if they were able to assist you.

I can't access my hotmail email. When I sign in to "Microsoft Account" all I get is my account information, no link to email. Why can't it be simple liked putt used to be! Does hotmail no longer exist and now it is outlook?

Deleted Group

Can you help me to restore a Live Group that I probably accidentally deleted?

I deleted a Microsoft account (Live account) but didn't realize that a Group that is attached to it gets also deleted. In the Group there were other members and atleast one one of them with full rights (Owner). Thanks!

I have recently had one of my old email addresses hacked and had the password changed. The alias email and security question would not work. I then was asked to verify account information with a number of listed personal details.

However, when I click on 'Submit' on the end of the form, nothing happens. Does this mean that your team have received the form? Should it be notifying me if your team have received my form?

Would appreciate help.

I tried to open an Microsoft account using i******** Email address is removed for privacy ***, but message was that this email already in use.

So, can I reopen the closed account of i******** Email address is removed for privacy ***? Can I retrieve my account/data from SkyDrive?

Child Account Problem

Hi,

So, today I was trying to set up a microsoft account for my 10 year old.

I made the account and, through the associated link, was taken to my own account to approve the child account. Microsoft said that it had to charge me 50 cents. I clicked ok and agreed. The next screen said that there was an error and that I should try again. I tried 6 times and each time it said that the order was not processed.

Interestingly, Microsoft charged me 6 times and the account still doesnt work. Just out of curiosity, is Microsoft running a scam?
