I opened a Microsoft account without realizing I already had one. I attempted to merge them. First I tried to add an alias to one of the accounts but it read that the email was already in use. I closed the email that was already in use, then attempted
to add it as an alias. Message still reads it is already in use. When I attempt to sign in with the secondary email it reads that the account doesn't exist. Any suggestions?

My Microsoft account has been blocked due to too many attempts at finding the right password. To reactivate my account I need to send a text to my mobile, but my country isn't listed in the countrylist. It only lists the countries from A up to M, but all
others are missing (in Dutch). As such, as I want to select Netherlands, I can't reactivate my account.

I got an email that doesn't look like spam, I checked the sender and it comes from *** Email address is removed for privacy ***], see below how the email looks like (I modified some fields). The link at the bottom goes to https://account.live.com/pw.
Is this a legit email? I haven't requested anything and my account is not a Windows Live account.

I had a windows live account in the past. I closed my account. I want to set up a new account, but it will not let me set it up with my email address the following pops up: *******@cox.net already set up as a Microsoft account. Try signing in with this email, or choose a different account name. I try to sign in and to recover my password, by email and code and I do not get a response. Does anyone have any suggestions?
