Many thanks in advance,
Kevin
I have a Microsoft account I have used for everything (Xbox live, windows phone store, windows 8 store, skydiver) also have a separate outlook.com account I created when outlook.com started.
I would like to remove the standalone outlook.com account so I can add that email address as an alias to the MS account. Only problem is it says it would hold that email address for a year (I think it was a year don't remember exactly). Is there any way anyone at MS can help with this. I have access to both accounts but just want the standalone outlook.com one to be deleted.
I have a older Microsoft account and a newer one. I would like to merge the two, but there are items associated with both accounts that I would like preserved including transactions with Microsoft, MSDN, etc. What I would like is to be able to see what things are associated with both accounts, transfer the desired ones from the old account to the new one, and delete the old account making the email address an alias.
I know the canned response is "we do not offer that feature", but there's no way it couldn't be handled by someone at MS. Where do I need to go to find this person?
Along with the many other users who have posted in this community, I can't delete my hotmail account. Every time I try to deactivate my account I get the message "To close your Outlook account, you must first cancel your billing service. Go to Microsoft Account and Billing Services." I've NEVER had anything set-up in Microsoft Billing Services. When I access Microsoft Account and Billing Services there is nothing there to cancel. Please help me get this Hotmail account deleted. I would like to create a new username that's more professional appropriate, but would first like this account deactivated.
I would also like to point out that I first tried not using this account for over a year to allow it to deactivate on it's own. I didn't log into the account once for more than a year. Today I tried to verify that the account was no longer active, but instead of saying it was not a valid account it asked me my security questions, re-set password, and logged back into an active account. I had never even used Hotmail when it was the new Outlook.
Please send me a private message so that I can respond with my Unique ID to get this account deleted.
Thanks!
Unfortunately, Microsoft do not display any contact information.
I have tried twice to obtain assistance by telephoning number 0800 587 2920 (UK) and 0844 800 240025 but without success.
Can you assist me please.
