I recently bought I-Mac & configured emails in outlook 2011 via POP configuration. I configured my Google Apps business account with POP in Recent Mode (uservame = recent:*** Email address is removed for privacy ***). POP with recent moded is mandatory for me as i am using 3 different devices (windows desktop in office & I-Mac at home, and a BB10). Windows desktop is configured with GASMO (Google apps sync for microsoft outlook), BB10 is configured with POP mode as ISP(airtel, vodafone....etc) doesn't support BB10 as of now, and I-Mac is configured with POP in Recent mode so that i will not loose any single email.

Problem is with MAC configuration. Whenever i am sending an email from MAC, i used to get 2 copies of sent messages in my sent folder (one outlook keeps & another downloaded from Google as recent mode is activated).

Outlook 2007, 2010 has option to unselect save sent meaasages in sent folder  but i didn't find any such option in Outlook 2011(if email is configured with POP).

Kindly help.

Hi all,

I have created several contact folders in Microsoft Outlook 2010 (PC) which I would now like to share with someone within the same organisation using Microsoft Outlook 2011 (Mac).

I have added the relevant user as an editor in the permissions section, and have send a sharing invitation.

The sharing invitation just comes with a link with instructions as per the below:

File > Open > Other User's Folder...

When I select the correct contract, an error shows up saying:

Outlook cannot open the folder.
You do not have permission to open this folder. Contact <user> for permission.

I also tried adding myself to their 'People I am a delegate for' in
Tools > Advanced > Accounts... > Delegates

If someone has a solution for this, it would be greatly appreciated!  It's working perfectly between all of the PCs so getting the Mac sorted would be excellent.
Hello,

I have the current scenario and would like some technical support. My peer is outside my network and he is using the following version for MAC:
Microsoft Outlook for Mac 2011, Version 14.3.7 (130812). I am a windows user. Is it possible for him to share HIS calendar to someone outside his network? I am familiar with sharing inside a network, but not outside a network? Ultimately we would like to do the following:
1. Share Microsoft Outlook for Mac 2011, Version 14.3.7 (130812) with Microsoft Outlook 2013 windows.
2. Share Microsoft Outlook 2013 with Microsoft Outlook for Mac 2011, Version 14.3.7 (130812)

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Step by step instructions would be exceptional :)
Regards,

Here is the email you are sending me:

Hello Hotmail User,
To continue sending messages, please sign in and validate your Outlook.com account.
This helps us stop automated programs from sending junk email.
Thanks for your help and patience!
The Outlook.com Team
I sign in and there is no obvious link to 'validate' it. If I change some security settings it seems that it does get validated. In addition I am using Microsoft Outlook with pop3 to send and recieve emails. Every time I get one of these messages to log in and validate you send me all my old messages since I set up my account. So now I have 5 copies of all the messages I received since I set up this email. Please just 'validate' all and any future email accounts associated with my domain for me as I own this domain.
Every time I open up Microsoft Outlook there is a new folder titled "the file so that changes to the file will be reflected in your item."  The other day I had about 20 of them.  I was able to delete all but 2 of them; the last 2 won't delete.  How do I get rid of them and how do I prevent them from coming back?
Yesterday I bought the licence and installed Microsoft Outlook 2011 for Mac.

The software installed correctly. But I can not open the program.

Everytime I click the Outlook icon I see just for 2 seconds the Outlook menu (Outlook, File, Edit, etc). And the, this menu disappear and only get Outlook and Edit wich are corrupted becouse can not open them.

I got this error message:

Can you help me?

I am trying to set up Microsoft Outlook.  The connections are all okay but the send test email message fails.  I get:
Send test e-mail message: The specified server was found, but there was no response from the server.  Please verify that the port and SSL information is correct.  To access these setting close this dialog, then click More Settings and click on the Advanced tab.

The port and SSL are correct so now what do I do?

I am trying to set up Microsoft Outlook because Windows Live Mail WILL NOT LET ME SEND EMAIL TO A GROUP.
When I set up a group contact and type an email I get a message that asks me to enter an email address into the To, Cc or Bcc line.  However the contact group is in the To line, so why won't it recognize that there is a group of email addresses there?

Very, very frustrating.

So, if anyone knows how to set up either Microsoft Outlook, or fix Windows Live Mail so I can send to a group I would greatly appreciate the help.
