Hello,

Environment:

AD authenticated

Folder redirection enabled (including AppData(Roaming))

Office 365 (ADFS)

Problem:

The following Outlook error message is triggered when waking from sleep.  "Microsoft Outlook must be closed because an error occurred..."

The issue only occurs when Outlook is re-accessed after being woken.  If Outlook is closed and requires it to be open, nthere are no issues.  If Outlook is completely closed prior to sleep, there are no issues.

Any ideas?

Good day.

I bought Microsoft Office: Mac 2011 and as I wanted to set up my outlook profile it asked for the product code. As I entered it it said it is not the correct code am I using the correct code of is there an alternative.

Hello!

Outlook 2011 don't connecting to Exchange 2010 from external network, but from internal network all working.

For Windows 7 and Outlook 2010 our admins recommended import to registry follow keys:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Outlook\AutoDiscover]
"ExcludeHttpRedirect"=dword:00000001
"ExcludeHttpsAutodiscoverDomain"=dword:00000001
"ExcludeHttpsRootDomain"=dword:00000001
"ExcludeScpLookup"=dword:00000001
"ExcludeSrvLookup"=dword:00000001
"ExcludeSrvRecord"=dword:00000001

After I am importing this keys Outlook 2010 is working from external network. Before Outlook 2010 always asking credentials and in settings for proxy authentication automatic changing to "NTLM Authentication" instead "Basic Authentication".

I am finding similar recommendation for Outlook 2011:

"To disable autodiscover in your Outlook for Mac clients you can run the following AppleScript:

tell application "Microsoft Outlook"
set background autodiscover of exchange account 1 to false
end tell"

After this Outlook 2011 working fine in internal network, but from external network nothing change. Always ask credentials and after I am input it right don't working.

I am enable logging in Outlook and what I see:

2013-04-26 11:51:37.773,0xFFFFFFFF,Outlook Exchange Web Services,Error,"EWS: Error parsing data on thread=0x1995a404, Error=
SYSTEM or PUBLIC, the URI is missing

Please help me solve this problem.

I want to know if Outlook has anything similar to Google Voice? Can you get an office phone set-up that integrates with Outlook?
I'm trying to run an AppleScript by Ed Asmus for office Outlook 2011 for Mac and then having problems.  The reason I'm trying to run the AppleScript is to remove duplicate and sometimes triplicate copies of contacts.  When I run the AppleScript I get the following error message

Microsoft Outlook got an error: Cannot delete this item number -10003 from contact id 5578

My questions are:

1. How do identify what I am assuming to be the problem contact under the ID "5578"?
2. Can I manually remove this problem contact ID?
3. where did these duplicate contacts come from?
4. how do I prevent them from returning?

Thank in advance for any assisttance

I am using microsoft outlook 2011 version 14.3.2 (130206). I can send emails well but cannot receive at all. The popped up message after failed receiving is always: 'An operation on the server timed out. The server may be down, overloaded, or there may be too much net traffic.' Error code -3259.
Please inform me what to do. Thx
Entourage 2008 provided support for WebDAV.  This allowed me as a government employee to access my Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) webmail via Entourage which increased my productivity ten-fold by allowing me to manage my emails and pull them into personal folders.  Outlook 2011 for Mac no longer provides WebDAV support.  I would beg you to please reconsider whatever decision was made and provide WebDAV support to Microsoft Outlook for Mac 2011 and later.  Thank you so much!
