I have windows 7 64. I am using Microsoft Security Essentials.
And Malwarebytes was added about a month ago.
But since I loaded windows live mail into this new system back in May 2013... I can only email out on the default email account.
The four other email accounts can't send out mail.
ATT gave me their webpage help...but was no help.
Where do you think my problem is?
I have checked it all with a fine tooth comb.
All email properties settings seem correct.

I am trying to get updates for Microsoft Security Essentials and am getting this error:
"Virus and spyware definitions couldn't be updated. This app couldn't check for virus and spyware definition updates. Check your Internet or network connection and try again. Error code: 0x80070424"
How do I turn virus protection back on for XP after all updated installations?
I cannot open Windows Live Mail , as this error code comes up . Windows Live cannot open because of this error code ( 0X00C155.2 )
I cannot remove Microsoft Download Manager as it keeps asking for Administrator password and will not accept it when given ,
the same happened when I tried to remove Microsoft Security Essentials .
I am finding the same happens when I try to remove another programme .
Why is this happening ?
I have had to set up another Administrator account on my computer as it stopped recognising the original one .
I have just had to have a new C hard drive fitted on my computer , as the manufacturer had fitted a C Drive , that had a serious flaw in it ,
so after starting from basically nothing apart from Windows 7 Home Premium being installed had nearly finished adding everything back ,
for this to happen .
I have searched for this code but cannot find it anywhere .
- Google Chrome browser used (cannot find a version number- help?).
- Windows 7 operating system. Microsoft Security Essentials - most recent updates installed.
- Use the free version of CCleaner, updated May 24, 2013.
- My Outlook account was hacked about a month ago. I have had this account for MANY years - started as a Hotmail account. I changed my password to a more complex one after the hacking, and it worked after a little effort. Password was sent to my secondary email account (non-Outlook).
- I have received 2 emails from my own account: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. After the first, I changed password since I figured I'd been hacked. For about a month things seemed okay. I received another from my account in the past couple days. Does this mean they still have access to my account/computer files?? Unfortunately, I reported both as phishing scams to Outlook & the message then disappears from my system.
- Thank you for any assistance given.
