My file won’t open; how do I go about getting Microsoft support for seeing if the file is corrupted?
I spent over 5 hours making this video project for school, but now it won't open because the file is "corrupt", and my project is due tomorrow.
I sent the file to Microsoft Support but have received no response from them, despite the fact that they promised one in 24 hours.
Yes, I have updated to the latest version of Windows Essentials.
Could anyone help me fix this file? (Removed for privacy)
My Hotmail was hacked into a week ago Friday. I changed the password, etc. The problem is I cannot re-setup the account with the new password in Windows Live or Thunderbird. I spent two hours with the Microsoft support for people with disabilities. The woman was very nice, and took over my computer remotely, and she couldn't resolve the issue. The computer has been scanned for viruses, the password works online, it is being typed in properly, and nothing works. Is there any way to fully recover this address?
Please allow me to create email accounts to be created for purserandassociates.com I am recieving this error when trying to create the accounts.
I am a certified public accountant and need to set up emails to be contacted by my clients. Your immediate attention is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Kelly Purser
I have both a personal company access to the forum and now a generic company access to the forum as on this submission. I had logged this new question under the generic company sign-in [amended text *** Email address is removed for privacy *** but it still ended up under the johnL666 entry - so presumably 'moved' as was moving between the sites].
The personal access was made under *** Email address is removed for privacy *** (Display name johnL666)
The original submission on the http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us site, under my personal login related to a client who had accidentally closed/deleted her Live ID account and wanted to re-instate it.
A reply from Richard_LS closed the thread and directed me to submit the concern to 'Microsoft Account Support' and to raise my question there.
I logged into the site http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-live/id-support with the same Live ID as above (display John Lockwood) and submitted my question using the 'my problem isn't listed here' option.
I have now had a number of replies, but despite raising an access problem report as each reply is supplied, I am still unable to follow the provided link(s). The Subject references are:-

In every case when I follow the link, logging in with Live ID as above I get the response
"
*** Email address is removed for privacy *** is not allowed to view this incident. |
If I log into the http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us site using the same Live ID (display johnL666) none of these replies are listed there.
Can you please advise how I may get access to the replies, get out of this loop, and then ultimately resolve the client's problem.
I have tried using the client's original login but that wasn't successful either.
Thank you
Is it correct that I now will no longer be able to use my Microsoft Surface nor will I be able to use my Windows Phone, because both of these devices require a Microsoft account to login. By blocking my account permanently and not allowing me to appeal this case, this is what you are stating, is that correct? I sincerely hope that you reconsider, because I does not seem to make sense to block a user from all their devices (and thus having to return all of them to the store), simply because of such a matter.
