I have been communicating with Microsoft Community since August, 2013 regarding issues with Movie Maker.  There was a one month 'pause' while I tried some other things and then I responded on November 28, 2013.  I did not receive the usual email acknowledgement of receipt of my message nor have I received a response from any moderators.  Can I expect a response or do I have to start this whole process over again (I hope not)?
I am trying to send e-mails with attachments, and I keep getting a pop-up stating: I no longer have Microsoft e-mail. I purchased; Office Home and Student 2013 on 10-23-2013
Please note, I selected Windows Live Mail, because Microsoft has narrowly provided a list of categories that does not include their product MicroSoft Works in the dropdown menus on this page.

After installation of Windows Live Essentials, when using Microsoft Works spreadsheets, my normal task bar disappeared and the Windows Live Search Toolbar now appears at the very top.

I've read way too many solutions to remove the Windows Live Search Toolbar from Explorer, but cannot find any resolutions for Micorsoft Works.  I have search for for any toolbar to uninstall entitled "Live Search" using both works and either word singularly to no avail.

Eventually, I completely uninstalled Windows Live Essentials and its hundreds of leftover files, using Revo Uninstaller Pro.

Sadly, this did not resolve my problems.

Where do I find and get rid of this nuisance on my spreadsheets, where I would never ever need to perform a live search!!

Thanks for any help.

Not being a clever clogs at all - but it's all worked perfectly well for me. I keep reading threads from frustrated conversations and I'm reminded of my attempts to get Windows 3.11 running over a network, about 15 years ago - no threads then, really no internet at all worth mentioning. Honestly I can say that the upgrade from Win 8 to 8.1 was simply the press of a Microsoft site button asking me to upgrade and then a 35 minute wait, hey-presto! I'm not actually sure how many of the complaining people really know how to do a complete re-installation from low-level reformat i.e. rebuilding your machine from scratch. I haven't had to do it since Windows NT, back in the late 90s, obviously not on this machine. Microsoft have never made a 'perfect' operating system, in fact they've made some real dog's arsehole OSs. I'm trying to recall DOS 4.0 with LIM (?) extenders to make 640K look like 1024K i.e. 1MB of total memory - and that was only 20 years ago, I've got children 20 years old than that. Then every **** on the planet wanted to hang on their silly device driver, their obscure cheapo monitor and bit of **** over an operating system running a 16-bit architecture. SO, get a life all you moaners. You could of course buy an Apple machine where they charge for everything - and then charge you some more. On the other hand you could learn how to 'start from scratch', re-install your system OS and learn that it does work - if only you hadn't filled your computer with so much rubbish. I mostly use a DELL with 16GB and 2TB storage with an AMD 6-core processor i.e. hardly advanced! IainH
I'm running Office 2011 on Apple OS X 10.6.  I just installed Microsoft update 14.3.9 and after that, I see that my Office Reminders Snooze dropdown options are all grayed out - no way to select any of the timed snooze options. How do I fix this?
This is my third try at this question. Can not receive email from Hotmail, my other accounts work fine. Since I posted my first question, I got 2 emails from Microsoft, but no others? I should have about 20 from eBay. Thank you.
I recently purchased Office 2013 because I got a new iMac. I was using Thunderbird, so I didn't think I would need Outlook and bought Office without it, thinking I could always buy it separately later. When I did decide to buy it, I discovered that Microsoft won't allow you to purchase Outlook separately for Mac, or to upgrade your copy of Office to include it. If you have Office for Windows, you can buy Outlook separately. But if you are a Mac owner, Microsoft wants you to buy Office all over again, this time with Outlook. So that's $140 for Office to begin with, and then another $240 for a second copy of Office, this time with Outlook. They don't warn you about this anywhere on the Microsoft website. Kind of a ripoff.
