I made a Microsoft account when I bought Microsoft Office for my computer, the email I used at the time was in use. I constantly check the account. One day, I check it and the account has been, apparently, deactivated. Now, I can't receive any notifications from Microsoft if need be. I have tried changing the email address but, I guess I'm not very computer savvy. Like, at all.
I have not been getting any emails for the past four days, and Microsoft has so far been quite unresponsive. Should my account have been full on Thursday, Oct. 31, it certainly hasn't been since I deleted a huge amount of messages on Friday and Saturday. Any advice incl. what to do about Microsoft's lack of response?
My son had a laptop that we sold to someone else. In order to access the computer, he needed my son's email address and password to Microsoft. The new owner went in and changed the email address for the administrator for the computer to his email address. Now Microsoft says my son's email and account does not exist. So I tried to create another account with his same email address and it says there is already one with that email address. The new owner of the computer said they changed their info back to my son's account info, but Microsoft still says account and email do not exist. HELP!!

I have apparently forgotton the exact answer to my secret question on another account. I have tried the reset page and the response is a I haven't given enough information for Microsoft to verify me. The secret question answer must be wrong, and the other info it wants is subject lines or email addresses for recently sent emails from that account. That account has not had any emails sent, therefore I cannot supply any more answers to satisfy the form. How may I get this password reset and access this account??  I need that access soon.

Thank You!

Hi

There is a growing amount of web based outlook.com users who are not receiving emails since Oct. 30. I am one of them. It seems that we all have a personalized domain from Melbourne IT. The Melbourne IT team are asking us to get our MX information from Microsoft for our account and provide them with this information. I have been receiving TERRIBLE support from Microsoft with them not having phone support and with them not responding to my support request logged over 38hrs ago, or the other messages that I posted on this community 4 days ago!!! My domain is: alphainvest.org and email is : *** Email address is removed for privacy ***    . Can a Microsoft moderator be kind enough to PLEASE help me get this information the domain registrant is requesting or fix my email account as I have been missing a ton of business related emails and this is getting unprofessional with my clients. Please dont reply back asking to check setting, junk mail filters etc. as it is not this.... The domain registrar is saying that there is a failure in the MX information, or whatever that is...

PLEASE ASSIST AM BEGGING YOU GUYS!

Thanks

I have been unable to receive mail on my personalized (Hotmail) now Outlook account, reading the posts here I am not alone, it is notable that nether Microsoft or Melbourne IT are taking ownership of this problem. I encourage everyone in a similar situation to respond to this post and we will see what reaction we get with an increasing post count.

I am posting this in the hope that someone can tell me how to contact Microsoft to get them interested in fixing a wide spread problem with receiving mail, on outlook. This issue would appear to only affect people with personalized domain names, usually small business owners. Melbourne IT the common hosting service say they have not made any changes and that Microsoft need to fix whatever problem they have. It appears that  the only Microsoft help solution is this community which does not appear to have been able to get Microsoft interested in correcting the issue. So does anyone know of a way to contact Microsoft direct. The problem started around October 30 and continues today. Any help contact email telephone numbers for Microsoft support would be gracefully received not only by me but by everyone affected by this problem. (Microsoft not this an issue this is a real problem which is causing harm to some of your clients ) not to me I just do not have email but the small business owners are hurting and it is time you fixed this.
