We are not receiving emails on a paid email subscription since 10/30 and no one is responding to our requests. Is there a Microsoft person on here?  Thanks.
Hi,

I have been experiencing difficulties verifying my son's account with my own. When my son signs in with his credentials, it states;

You need a parent's permission

Before you can sign in to this Microsoft account and use it with Microsoft websites and services, you need a parent's permission. If your parent is available now, ask them to sign in to this PC.

Which I do, then it takes my to this page;

Verify that you're an adult

When you verify your age with a credit card, Microsoft charges the card a one-time fee of $0.50 (50 cents), and a portion of the fee is donated to charity.

As you can see the country/region is hard set at United States. I'm not in the USA, I'm in the UK. I have checked the locale settings for both accounts and they are both set as UK.

How do I get the system to accept my UK credit card info? I don't want to abandon my sons account as he has purchases linked to it on Xbox Live.

Any and all help is appreciated!

Thanks

Rich

Me ajudem!

Obrigado
I cannot receive emails from my Outlook.Com, I can only send. I am having this issue on all my devices, tablets, phone, pc's, etc... They use various wifi accounts and they all stopped working yesterday. It is not a setup issue, but a Microsoft issue. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with support with them finally saying there is no support for Outlook.Com. WHAT!!! This is my primary account and I have my entire life built around this account. I have been using email for 20 years, still have my original AOL account, this is the first time in twenty years that this has happened. This is a black eye for Microsoft and saying you have no support is unacceptable when people's entire lives are tied to their email accounts. Microsoft You Need To Find A Solution To This Fast!!! I don't know what important personal or business information I am missing out on. PLEASE FIX ASAP!!!

I have today received notification of cancellation of my outlook ad-free account.  Microsoft tried several times to apply for payment from my credit card but the card was out of date.  As soon as I realised this I tried to update the payment information, but could not do so because a code was to be sent to an alternate e-mail address which was also no longer in use.

On changing the alternate e-mail address the message from Microsoft was that this could not be used for 4 weeks.  I duly waited 4 weeks and then changed the billing information [about 10 days ago] to include the new credit card number, though there was no facility to delete the old number - only to add the new one.

I am now informed that my ad-free account will be closed.

In addition to the actions I took above, I tried calling customer support - fairly early in the morning, several weeks ago - holding on for some 40 mins but receiving no reply.

I am appalled that Microsoft make an operation as simple as changing a credit card number so utterly difficult and frustrating - and treat customers with such disdain.  Even the title of this page is annoying: I don't want to 'create a question or start a discussion '  I JUST WANT YOU TO TELL ME - A REASONABLY INTELLIGENT PERSON - HOW TO RENEW MY CREDIT CARD DETAILS OR HOW TO CONTACT SOMEONE AT MICROSOFT WHO WILL PERFORM THIS SIMPLE OPERATION.  No other company I know of makes things so difficult.

June 22, Purchased 100 GB Skydrive

Activated account, installed client on 2 computers. Logging into that SkyDrive account from each of the 2 computers, using identical login credentials in both instances, did not achieve same files appearing in SkyDrive folder on local drives of the 2 computers running SkyDrive.

June 27, Launched question on this Forum, seeking help.

After continuous interaction with forum moderators over a period exceeding 4 months, Microsoft Support Specialists are still unable to solve problem.

Forum Moderator directed me to Microsoft billing and support to obtain a refund.

I followed that direction.  Microsoft billing and support did not honor my request.

SkyDrive does not work for me.  SkyDrive did not ever work for me.  I followed dozens of instructions from Microsoft, removed and reloaded the client numerous times.  I want a full refund of my payment to Microsoft for SkyDrive 100 GB.  I am appealing to this forum for assistance in obtaining that refund.

Thank you

Hi I cannot seem to work out if microsoft now allow free email accounts to be added to existing ones. I don't want an alias I just want a new account that it ?
I can't figure out a way to do this ? Does anyone understand this ? And can you help ? I've spent an hour and have given up short of hacking the program to do it. Not really of course. Is it just an email client now and they no longer give a way to add new accounts to existing ones ? I have read loads on Google and still am baffled and can find nothing from microsoft themselves ?

Thanks very much.
